Sydney appeared in the first scene and she was making breakfast for both herself and for Michael. She was seen placing an egg and bacon on Michael's plate and also pouring him a glass of orange juice. She then got out an envelope that had Michael's name on it and placed it right by his breakfast for him to open and see. Sydney decided to take the envelope to Michael himself and have him open it up himself.

Jo was at a photo shoot taking some pictures of female models and she told the guy next to her to reload the camera. She started to feel sick and then rushed to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. The guy asked Jo what was wrong and she said nothing but then she fainted right as she was getting back to snapping some more pictures. Jo shortly afterwards found out she threw up since she was undergoing morning sickness via pregnancy.

Sydney went to go see Jane so Jane asked her what she wanted. She asked Jane to not be upset at the news she was about to tell her but then she kept talking so Jane told her to just give her the news. Sydney said she and Michael were engaged to be married and she wanted her to know she was not marrying him out of revenge. Jane just laughed since she thought Sydney was joking but Sydney said she was being serious.

Jake and Amanda were in Jake's apartment in one scene about to have some drinks and she told him how they were going out to dinner with the head of D&D Advertising. Jake told her how he had never been into socializing with the corporate types but Amanda told him all he had to do was sit there and look good. Jake said he was not into being like an ornament on Amanda's arm but Amanda managed to convince him to go.

Jo went to the doctor after she fainted and he came in to talk to her and tell her he believed he found out why she fainted. He informed her that she was pregnant but Jo doubted what he was saying. Jo then accepted the fact she was pregnant and that Reed was the father. The doctor, not knowing Reed was the father, advised Jo to let the father know.

It was near the episode's conclusion where Michael had a dream in which he got up out of bed to go get something to drink. While he was by the refrigerator, he noticed a rack of knives so he picked one up and proceeded back to the bedroom. He was about to stab Sydney with the knife but then he awoke. Sydney asked Michael what was up and he told her he had the most marvelous dream.
