Billy had a dream about his and Amanda making love the previous night and then he woke up and started getting dressed for work. Amanda entered his bedroom and they spoke about the time they spent together last night. While they spoke, Amanda asked Billy if he thought the sex was bad but Billy told her it was rather terrific.

Billy was just about to leave Amanda's apartment when Allison all of a sudden knocked on the door so Amanda answered it while Billy hid. Allison told Amanda that she was glad she caught her before work and informed her how she was behind on Christmas shopping and wanted to know if she could have the day off. Amanda invited Allison in for a cup of coffee while Billy slipped out of the apartment.

Billy was going down the stairs and heading back to his apartment and he was about to go inside until he saw Nikki, Katya's daughter. Billy said hi to her so Katya told him she made a Christmas ornament for everyone and gave Billy his. He told her it looked perfect and then she asked him if he could give Jake's ornament to him. Billy agreed to give Jake his ornament that Nikki made.

Billy got inside his apartment and then Jake appeared so he asked Billy where he had been since Allison got back the previous day and called about five times. Billy said he was at a club all night partying and that he met twins and wound up at their place. Jake told him the next time he was out partying that he should take him along.

Midway through the episode, Michael was seen trying to get some food at the top of the refrigerator while in a wheelchair so he managed to grab it all but it then slipped onto the floor. They then heard someone at the door so Jane answered it and welcomed the woman inside. Jane introduced the woman as Colleen, the private nurse who would be taking care of him. Michael reminded Jane how they spoke about him not needing a nurse but Jane told him it was just for the weekend while she spend Christmas with Robert.

Jake saw Amanda in this episode so he asked her how Palmer was so she told him how the trial would be after the holidays so there was some relief. Amanda started to walk away from him but Jake caught up with her and reiterated how the FBI gave him no choice and he had to participate.

While they spoke, Amanda said there was nothing left between him and how her father warned her about getting involved with a "grease monkey" like Jake.

Billy was at LAX midway through the episode and he was in the standby line but the ticket agent said there was no room for him on that flight. Billy asked the ticket agent if she could get him on a connecting flight to Denver so she told him there was one that was leaving in five minutes. Billy asked her for the gate number and she gave it to him so he ran to the gate but did not make it in time.

Outside by the pool area at the Christmas party, Jo and Matt were there with Nikki and Katya and Jo held Nikki in her lap as she cut her holiday cake. Nikki then cut the first slice and both Jo and Matt cheered as she did it. Other characters that were seen at this party were Amanda, Jake and Michael.

Midway through the party near the end of the episode, Billy entered the apartment complex dressed as Santa Claus and wished them all a merry Christmas. Nikki started to hide but Billy told her to come on out so he could get a good look at her so Nikki did. Billy asked Nikki to give him a hug so Nikki did and she called him Billy rather than Santa Claus.
