Batman realized that the air pressure meter inside the hot air balloon would stop rising if they could place something inside of it to cause the pressure to stabilize. Both Batman and Robin then noticed a piece of chewing gum inside the hot air balloon. Robin picked up the chewing gum and placed it inside the pressure meter, causing the altitude not to rise anymore and therefore saving them from death.

The reading hit about 19,000 feet and, had it gotten to 20,000 feet, the hot air balloon would have detached, causing the Dynamic Duo to fall 20,000 feet to their death.

Batman told Robin to practice his bird calling to see if he could get a bird to come over to the balloon and puncture a hole in it. One bird flew over and punctured a hole in the balloon, causing it to deflate and then descend safely to the ground.

Midway through the episode, Rocket O'Rourke was spending some time with Artemus Knab when she poured them some tea. She commented on how she never thought she would be spending an afternoon sipping tea with a tycoon like Mr. Knab. Artemus mentioned that Rocket seemed to be a well rounded lady. However, Artemus had no idea at that point that Rocket secretly worked for The Puzzler.

Batman and Robin went to the location where The Puzzler was hiding out so they decided to enter the place by climbing through a window, which required they scale a wall. When they were about midway up the wall, a man dressed as Santa Claus peaked out through a window and said hello to them. Santa told the Dynamic Duo that he would leave them a present if they told him where the Batcave was located.

The final scene took place at Wayne Manor when Bruce and Dick were shocked to find a whole bunch of balloons inside the living room. Harriet and Alfred were there so she told them she found the balloons to be cute as they contained puzzles on them. Dick simply said that they did look unusual while Bruce said they were a novelty.
