After King Tut wrongfully believed he had killed Batman, he and his men were in the other room with a tied up Robin as well as Lisa Carson. King Tut told her he wanted to go to the boiling room of his hideout in order for them to make plans for their wedding. Lisa reminded him that she was not his beloved Cleopatra and had zero plans to walk down the aisle to become his wife.

Lisa Carson threatened to have her father go after King Tut for kidnapping her but he did not take her threats against him seriously. Up above on the roof, Alfred could be seen spying on King Tut. He then asked his henchmen to bring Robin to the boiling room to prepare some boiling oil for him to be stuffed in and eventually die from scalding.

Lord Chancellor and another one of King Tut's aids mentioned the possibility of making a deal to release Lisa in exchange for money. They discussed how Lisa's father, John E. Carson, had a boatload of cash and that it was the perfect time to get wealthy due to the steady market economy. King Tut yelled at both men, calling them his "Tuttlings", and insisted that they not give up Lisa.

After Batman was released from the sarcophagus, Alfred inquired as to how he possibly survived underwater for so long with no air to breathe. Batman stated that he put himself into a trance, which in turn slowed his heart and respiratory functions. Alfred said that Batman being submerged for nearly an hour before being rescued.

King Tut phoned up John E. Carson to request that he pay him a rather unique sum of money in order for Lisa to come home safely. John wanted to make sure that Lisa was okay so she yelled at him through the phone that she was safe. After King Tut released his demand amount, Mr. Carson inquired as to why it was such an awkward amount so King Tut stated that he had pyramids to pay off.

Batman was in the Batcave when the Batphone rang off so he answered it to see what was on Commissioner Gordon's mind. Mr. Gordon stated that he feared for his daughter, Barbara, so Batman asked him what she had to do with King Tut's crimes. He stated how Barbara was about to graduate college and feared that what happened to King Tut there (when he was Professor McElroy) might befall Barbara, too.

The episode concluded on a happy note with Bruce and Lisa having a romantic evening together. He apologized to her for all she endured after being kidnapped by King Tut. She asked how he was doing so Bruce responded by insisting he was getting the help he needed. Lisa then kissed Bruce and invited him into her apartment.
