Bruce remarked that they looking rather chic, which could only mean that every bachelor would stare at her. Dick concurred on Bruce's thoughts regarding her new attire.

Alfred entered the living room at Wayne Manor to whisper to Bruce about the Batphone having gone off. Bruce and Dick entered the study to take the call. Bruce asked Commissioner Gordon if the villain in town this time was one of the major ones, like Mr. Freeze or The Joker or The Penguin. Commissioner Gordon stated it was now Black Widow.

Batman and Robin made their way to speak with Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara about Black Widow's latest stunt. At the station, Batman informed them that he had a batanalyzer that could look at the functions of all brain parts to see which component was grossly affected by Black Widow's device. Batman used the batanalyzer on Mr. Cash in order to figure out how his brain now shaped up after his run in with the devilish woman.

Back at Black Widow's hideout, Trap Door exited from his trap door and Black Widow asked him what he was doing out. He expressed loneliness being inside such a tiny space all the time. Daddy Longlegs mentioned how he always seemed to get nabbed by the police whenever he attempted a bank robbery during his youth.

Batman and Robin went in pursuit of Black Widow and arrived at her hideout, unbeknownst to them. They asked two people on the doorstep if they saw Black Widow but both "said" they had not. Both of them were actually mannequins and Black Widow used a voice disguiser to make it appear as if they spoke like real people.

Batman and Robin defeated Black Widow's men in a duel and were about to take Black Widow down to the police station. She suggested that they allow her to escape, which the two obviously declined. Black Widow then pressed a button for a gigantic spider web to come down from the ceiling.

As she was about to spray Batman and Robin with a paralyzing substance, the two moved away and ran into the web, causing them to be stuck to it. She then had two poisonous black widow spiders placed on Batman and Robin who were about to bite them.
