Penner, born on Marcy 5th, 1962 in the state of New York guest starred as Joel Walker, an art gallery owner who met Matt, in this episode. Jane was on the phone with Robert talking about an upcoming dinner that Jane was planning for Robert's parents since they would be in town. She heard a knock at the door and saw that it was Kimberly. She asked Kimberly what she wanted so Kimberly told Jane she wanted her to be the first to know that she and Michael broke up. Jane told Kimberly that she did not care but Kimberly blurted out that she saw Sydney and Michael in bed but Jane did not believe her.

Sydney was at Shooters working and she was seen bringing some meals to customers she was waiting on and then she saw Jane. She told Jane that she was working and therefore she could not talk but Jane insisted they chat. Jane told Sydney how Kimberly came by her apartment that morning and claimed she saw Sydney and Michael in bed. Sydney said that Kimberly was telling the truth.

Matt invited Katya and Nikki to come check out his apartment in one scene so Amanda saw all of them and Matt informed her they were just looking at it and would not be moving into the place. Matt told Amanda that an agent from the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) would be coming by the next day to interview Matt and Katya. Matt asked Amanda to vouch for them and say both he and Katya married for love but Amanda knew that Matt married Katya to keep her from being deported so she told Matt she would not lie for him.
