The duo were at a jail watching television when the show kicked off and an announcer on "The Pupils Court" gave a summary of a recent case. The announcer mentioned that Judge Wapner was not interested in hearing what he considered a pathetic claim. Judge Wapner of course was the real life TV judge for the show, "The People's Court". Beavis and Butt-head found the show quite fascinating.

Beavis and Butt-head awaited to go on trial so a guard stepped into the jail cell area. He mentioned the names that sounded like Beavis and Butt-head but he mispronounced them. However, the duo realized that the guard was calling for them so they got up to exit the room and head to court.

After Beavis and Butt-head got up to go to court, they were introduced to the judge who would preside over their case. She advised them both that they were each charged with trespassing and vandalism. She then asked them for their pleas.

Beavis and Butt-head had difficulty understanding what the judge wanted so she asked them if they were guilty or not guilty of the crimes she said they had been charged with at that instant. She then mentioned that they were being accused of throwing eggs. Then, she pointed to Mr. Anderson to ask them if they tossed eggs at his window.

Beavis and Butt-head spoke for a little bit to formulate a persuasive answer for the judge when she asked for their pleas. They mentioned that other kids were involved in the vandalism but they did not partake in it. Just behind the duo was Stewart since he was curious about the outcome of the case.

Beavis and Butt-head heard the judge talk to them a little bit more about the legal process under which they had to deal with for the case. She then informed them that they could have an attorney appointed for them to represent them in the action. Butt-head assured her that they could handle this affair on their own.

The judge asked the boys if they were sure that they did not want an attorney to represent them. She told them it was in their best interest to have someone who knew the law and could provide an adequate defense. She also advised them that attorneys were required to know the penal system, a response causing the duo to giggle.

The prosecutor got up to ask Mr. Anderson some questions when the latter went to the witness box. The only inquiry he made with Mr. Anderson was to tell the court what he observed on the date in question. Mr. Anderson simply responded about how he got home and saw the duo throwing eggs at his house.

The prosecutor finished up his questioning with Mr. Anderson and told Beavis and Butt-head that they were free to question Mr. Anderson. Butt-head called Beavis "Beatrice" (that was what the jail guard referred to him as) so Mr. Anderson asked the judge why he called him "Beatrice" since he was a boy. Mr. Anderson then out of the blue mentioned a story about when he was in the service with a buddy named Bill.

The case wrapped up so the judge advised the jury to go deliberate on if the two defendants were not guilty or guilty. She demanded that they come back with a guilty verdict so they went back to the jury room but immediately exited with a guilty verdict. The judge sentenced Beavis and Butt-head to 500 hours of community service.
