In the middle of the episode, Peter and Michael were seen at a golf course and Peter asked Michael if he believed he would take him under his wing. Michael said that he should show him the ropes due to how he knew of Peter taking kick backs and therefore he could go to the medical board about it. Peter agreed to take Michael under his wing in exchange for Michael's silence and for Michael to head up a research project. Michael agreed to this.
