Jane demanded to know why Sydney did it so Sydney mentioned how Michael and Kimberly broke up and therefore he could not pay the rent on the beach house on his own.

When Jake spoke to her, he expressed how unhappy he was that she quit her job as a waitress at Shooters without giving him proper notice. There was a business meeting at D&D Advertising to discuss an account that Allison had messed up. It turned out that Amanda had corrected the problem with the account and this pleased the Board of Directors enough that they rehired Amanda as President of the Board of Directors. Allison was informed that she was demoted and, because Brooke got her old job, there was no job for her at D&D Advertising. Amanda and Brooke, both of whom disliked Allison, celebrated Allison's being let go from D&D Advertising.
