Sydney was in the opening scene as she carefully walked around the apartment complex and then she went to Jake's apartment. When Jake answered the door, Sydney claimed that Chris had attacked her so she needed some help. Jake invited her into his apartment and he asked Sydney about the attack.

After Jake got done hearing from Sydney about Chris's attacking her, he went to Jane's apartment to confront Chris. Jake yelled through the door since it was taking Jane a long time to get to the door. It turned out that nobody was home, which upset Jake.

Amanda heard Jake's knocking on Jane's door and got out of her apartment. She yelled at him for being so loud since it was the middle of the night. Jake told Amanda that he was looking for Jane so Amanda said she knew that but Jane obviously was not there.

Amanda informed Jake that Chris and Jane headed to Las Vegas and therefore they were not in town. It was in the previous episode where Chris proposed marriage to Jane, which she accepted, and they both went to Las Vegas for a quickie marriage. Michael and Kimberly went there to interrupt their wedding and they were successful since Jane and Chris agreed to postpone it.

Bickford, born on September 25th, 1953 in New Britain, Connecticut guest starred as the hotel clerk who checked in Jane and Chris in this episode. This was the only episode of the series in which Bickford made an appearance. He has also guest starred on the TV series', "Murphy Brown", "Providence" and "That's So Raven."

Staggs had the small role of the minister at Chris and Jane's botched wedding in this episode. This was the only episode in the series in which Staggs portrayed a character. Amanda was at D&D Advertising and she went up to Allison to let her know that she appreciated the advice Allison gave her about the new doctor at Wilshire Memorial Hospital, Peter Burns. Allison said she was welcome so Amanda mentioned how she and Peter were going to have dinner tomorrow night. Amanda also thanked Allison for being a friend to her during her tribulations with Jake.

Allison asked Susan what she was making so she said they were huevos rancheros and it was to make up for the previous night since she forgot to meet Allison for their Mexican dinner.
