3.9 "Dr. Jekyll Saves His Hide" Quiz

Sydney and Jake had a very brief relationship and they decided to make love in the previous episode that was titled, "Love Reeks." Jake immediately woke up after Sydney got out of bed and asked her where she was going. Sydney said she had to leave and Jake asked her what was wrong. Sydney denied there was something wrong.

Michael and Amanda had made a pact to put Jane out of business. In this showing of "Melrose Place", Michael went to Amanda's office, at D&D Advertising, to discuss the plan. Amanda told Michael it should be easy to get Jane's business to file for chapter eleven.

This was when Amanda uttered her famous line, "When God was handing out business sense, Jane was at the back of the line getting her nails done."

When Michael went to see Amanda to discuss business (for more info, see "Interesting Info" section for question two), he mentioned that he and Kimberly tied the knot in Las Vegas. Amanda told Michael that she was happy for him and congratulated him on his recent nuptials. Michael and Kimberly had a whirlwind relationship that had car accidents, scars, explosions, and more.

Allison started to go through some serious life issues so she turned to the bottle for comfort. Eventually, Allison realized she had a huge problem when she was arrested for a DUI. She went to alcohol rehab and completed the program. She was the only one who had alcohol in this episode.

Matt liked to exercise and he was seen jogging midway through the episode, "Dr. Jekyll Saves His Hide." Matt was on the show for a total of five seasons and, when he was on "Melrose Place", he was one of few gay characters in all of primetime television. Of all the people that lived at the apartment complex, Matt was considered the most noble and was often seen as a boy scout.

Jo was pregnant, with Reed Carter's child, and decided that she wanted to give him up for adoption. In the previous season, Reed and Jo made love and, a couple of weeks after this, Reed kidnapped Jo but Jo killed him in self defense. It was after Reed's death that Jo found out she was pregnant with his child. She spoke to a lawyer named Henry Waxman about her options.

All of the above characters were shown working at D&D except for Kimberly Shaw. Kimberly was actually a doctor and was employed at Wilshire Memorial Hospital. She was never employed at D&D Advertising.

Jane and her boyfriend, Chris Marchette, went to Shooters (Jake's bar and restaurant) and saw Sydney and Jake there. Jake told Jane that it was not a good idea for them to be there and they should go someplace else. Both Jane and Chris told Jake they went there to try and make amends with Sydney (in the previous season, Chris kidnapped Sydney to Las Vegas).

Jack Wagner originated the role of Dr. Peter Burns on "Melrose Place" and was the only actor to play him throughout the show. While Peter was on the show, he married Amanda Woodward twice, romanced Lexi Sterling, married Eve Cleary, and nearly received a lobotomy, courtesy of a crazed Dr. Kimberly Shaw. Prior to joining "Melrose Place", Wagner originated the role of Andrew "Frisco" Jones on the ABC soap opera, "General Hospital." In 2003, he originated the role of Dominick Marone on the CBS soap opera, "The Bold and the Beautiful."

The day after Chris and Jane went to Shooters (for more info, see "Interesting Info" section for question eight), Sydney went to Jake and told him she thought it was best if she quit her job at Shooters. Sydney told Jake that she felt she caused him enough trouble there and that she did not want to continue being a pain to Jake. Jake told Sydney that he would be losing one of his best employees but accepted Sydney's decision to resign her job at Shooters.
