Right after the opening credits rolled, Jake was seen in his apartment getting ready to eat breakfast while Shelly was about done cooking it. She made him some bacon and eggs. Shelly noticed that Jake looked a little down so she asked him if he was impressed with her cooking, to which he said it smelled good.

Amanda was first seen in her office at D&D Advertising talking on the phone and then Peter entered the room. As soon as she hung up, Peter asked her if everything was alright and Amanda responded that she was not fine. Amanda then informed Peter she was on the phone with the police since somebody had stolen her car.

Sydney was taking calls while at Peter and Michael's private medical office and Kimberly was there and they chatted. Kimberly stated how she was thrilled when she had heard about Sydney moving back in with Michael so Sydney said she was glad to have Kimberly's blessing. Sydney then told Kimberly how she and Michael were having a great time together.

Midway through the episode, Matt went to go work his shift at Shooters and he spoke to Jake about some money that had been missing from the restaurant's book. He informed Jake about how he suspected Shelly took some money from Shooters so Jake told Matt to stop being paranoid since he believed Shelly would never take from him. Matt then asked Jake to send Shelly on an errand so he could log on to the computer and find out if Shelly stole money but Jake told Matt to do his job and not worry about it.

There was one scene where Michael was seen over at Jane's apartment drinking some wine with her. Michael grabbed the bottle and poured each of them a glass and then he asked her why she wanted him over that night. Jane said that she was actually not sure herself why she asked Michael to come visit her.

Jane and Michael were cleaning up Jane's apartment and then Jane heard the phone ring. She picked it up and it was Allison on the other end so Jane informed her that Michael was over at her apartment. Jane also said Michael was spending the night so Allison told Jane to be cautious with Michael over there.

There was one scene near the end of the episode where Jo and Richard were right outside Jane's apartment and they noticed Michael exiting it. They could not believe what they saw so Richard asked Jo if Michael and Jane got back together. Jo said she was unsure but it looked like they did considering what they had just seen. Jo asked Richard if them possibly being back together bothered him but Richard assured her he did not care.
