4.12 "Late Night with Butt-head" Quiz

The episode began at the audio visual room at Highland High School where Mr. Van Driessen spoke with Cassandra as well as another student. He informed them about the upcoming assignment they had regarding filming something. He spoke to Cassandra about how much he enjoyed their topic of roadway decay before talking to Beavis and Butt-head.

Mr. Van Driessen liked the fact that the duo had an idea regarding their assignment to film something unique. He did appreciate the fact that they wanted to start a new television show but was disturbed when they said it was solely to get money and women. He advised them to realize how television was not just about glamor.

As Mr. Van Driessen gave a long talk about the social relevance behind television as well as to exercise creative synergy, Beavis daydreamed. He then stopped and asked Butt-head to smell a particular body part. Butt-head simply told him he was disinterested while Beavis merely laughed at him.

Mr. Van Driessen closed his eyes and asked Butt-head to describe his show idea so he could provide feedback. Butt-head started to speak about the show and then a vision popped up. In that vision, Butt-head resembled David Letterman while Beavis looked like David Letterman's sidekick, Paul Schaffer.

Butt-head introduced the guests to Beavis in his vision and then proceeded to the top ten list. He claimed that the top ten list was from their home office in Butte, Montana. However, when Butt-head brought this up, he mispronounced "Butte" as "Butt".

Butt-head continued to talk about the top ten list in the vision when he tapped his pencil. At one point, he lost control of the pencil and it flicked off his desk into Beavis's eye, causing massive bleeding. Butt-head simply laughed at how cool that sight was and then the vision concluded.

Midway through the show, a pupil from class filmed Butt-head's little T.V. show where Butt-head played a talk show host while Beavis simply was at the side. On the recording, Butt-head had a pencil in hand and off to the side on his desk one could notice a soda cup by the design.
