4.19 "Butt is it Art?" Trivia Quiz

The episode began with the bus driver dropping off the students at the art museum so they could see some great artwork. Mr. Van Driessen informed the class that he wanted them to behave themselves this time. He reminded them how disappointed he was at their goofing off during a prior field trip to the zoo.

In the beginning of the episode, you could see a sign on the museum that simply read "Museum of Art". This was evident when Mr. Van Driessen gave his speech to the class about how to take art seriously. Beavis and Butt-head of course ignored their instructor's advice and wandered about a little.

Mr. Van Driessen walked on over to show the class how the artwork actually resembled something beautiful, despite Beavis and Butt-head just moments before destroying it.

Mr. Van Driessen gave a speech about what was before them and Butt-head made a comment about how it was not so hard after all to construct the piece. Beavis and Butt-head heard Mr. Van Driessen talk about a particular painting. When the class and he departed to see another piece, the duo stayed behind to enjoy the painting a little more. However, they wanted to make their own adjustments to the painting, which they did through a permanent marker Beavis grabbed from a security guard's back pocket.

At another display, Mr. Van Driessen showed the class a painting of a beautiful woman that had been done. This tickled Beavis and Butt-head's fancy so much that they eventually took the painting. At the end of the day, Mr. Van Driessen spoke to the class about how he was distressed to hear certain people damaged art at the museum. He did ask the class to share their insight with what they observed at the museum. Cassandra spoke up about how uplifting the entire day was for her. However, no other student spoke up with their thoughts on the art museum experience.
