4.32 "Liar! Liar!" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Burger World

The episode commenced at Burger World where the manager was counting over money in the drawers. While he did so, Beavis and Butt-head distracted him a little by randomly shouting numbers. He got done counting and said that they were missing money but Beavis immediately said he did not steal anything.

After the manager declared there was money missing, Butthead suggested that he count it again and Beavis said he did not get all the pennies. The manager informed them that he went through everything in the drawers and they were short. Beavis said it was likely some foreigner who robbed them.

The duo wanted to prove that they did not take the money from the cash registers at Burger World. The manager decided to send them to a place that administered polygraph tests to see if they were lying. Right before Butt-head went in for his exam, we saw a sign on the door that said the place's name: Big Eye Systems.

Beavis and Butt-head sat in the place's waiting room to be called on and Beavis started to tense up. He kept saying that he did not do it and it was some foreigner who lifted funds from Burger World. Butt-head asked him what he was doing so Beavis claimed he was practicing for the test.

Answer: Polygrip

Beavis asked Butt-head what they would do at this place where they were taking the lie detector exam. Butt-head answered but misspoke since he said it would be a "polygrip" test. Beavis claimed he found lie detector test equipment at Mr. Anderson's house once, put it on his teeth and it sent an electric feel into his mouth.

However, Butt-head said that Beavis was confusing it with something else.

Butt-head continue to discuss with Beavis about the lie detector test before he was called in for the exam. He brought up to Beavis how there was a key way to pass any lie detector exam. He informed him that one could just hold their breath throughout the test and, whether they lied or not, they would pass.

After Butt-head told Beavis about the holding your breath trick to passing the test, Beavis started holding his breath but Butt-head smacked him and advised him to do it during the exam. Beavis claimed he was just practicing but Butt-head responded that Beavis was a bad liar.

The lady opened the door and told Butt-head that Mr. O'Brien would see him now. Later on, she made the same comment to Beavis.

Answer: If he understood the directions to taking the exam

The tester hooked the equipment up to Butt-head and then told him that he would ask him some questions and all Butt-head would have to do is tell the truth. He asked Butt-head if he understood so Butt-head said yes. However, the machine buzzed Butt-head so as to say he did not understand so Butt-head said "no" and a lighthearted sound erupted. Mr. O'Brien then began the exam.

Answer: Passed out

Butt-head was asked a question about his name so he answered correctly. He then answered a question on how many fingers the tester held up and incorrectly said "four" when it was "three" but, as he thought it was "four", it did not count as a lie. He was then asked if he had ever stolen anything. Butt-head held his breath for so long and did not answer since he passed out, ending the test.

Near the end of the episode, Butt-head was at home watching television when a special news report broke in on the tube. The broadcaster stated how they had finally found a serial killer who once murdered a bunch of hippies in 1969. They then showed Beavis's picture on the television.
