8.1 "Crying" Trivia Quiz

Answer: The Bachelor

The boys were at home on their sofa with the television on and a male dressed in a suit broke bad news to a woman that he could not be with her. Based upon how he talked and the overall outlook of the show, it was evident this was "The Bachelor". The boys started to laugh about how everything took place.

Answer: He sniffed an onion

Beavis watched "The Bachelor" while eating a hot dog with an onion on it. After he sniffed the onion, the odor went straight to his eyelids where tears started to fall out. Butt-head could not believe what he saw but Beavis insisted that it was only due to his sniffing the onion on his hot dog.

Butt-head started to poke fun at Beavis actually crying since he took it that Beavis got saddened over events from "The Bachelor". He snorted on Beavis crying as if he was some girl. He even joked with Beavis about how it was okay for him to be touched by the program, albeit facetiously.

The duo saw the man speak to the woman on "The Bachelor" about a specific time in their limited interaction. He claimed how he went fishing with her and his father and how this period marked one of few moments when he seemed truly at ease. Despite this, though, he had to terminate their courtship.

The duo next walked to Highland High School for a little school that day in which the spotlighted lesson dealt with English. Mr. Van Driessen discussed the book they were reading in class: "To Kill a Mockingbird". Throughout the lesson, Butt-head continued to poke fun at Beavis's crying.

Mr. Van Driessen specifically went over Atticus Finch in covering "To Kill a Mockingbird". He noticed how the class and many people seemed touched by Atticus's empowered speech on racism. Butt-head joked that Beavis was touched since he cried so Mr. Van Driessen complimented Beavis on creating emotion for himself.

Beavis and Butt-head went to eat since it was lunch time at Highland High School. Beavis continually grew irritated by Butt-head's ridiculing him over the brief crying episode he crafted. Butt-head stood up from his cafeteria seat and announced that Beavis cried but everyone ignored him.

Beavis and Butt-head ate some French fries at the cafeteria when Stewart arrived and then sat down to speak with both boys. Butt-head teased Beavis in front of Stewart about the fact that Beavis shed tears the other day. Stewart simply did not care to hear about Beavis's crying since he considered it natural.

Beavis and Butt-head were seen a week later, per a title card, at the Highland Mall browsing store entrances. They came across a sexy dress at one store, which led to Beavis bringing up the show, "Sex and the City". Beavis then went on a weird speech about a mannequin coming to life.

Beavis and Butt-head were last seen at a nursing home since the title card mentioned how the final scene would be many years from now. The duo were senior citizens wheelchair bound at a nursing facility where Butt-head even then joked about Beavis's crying. However, Butt-head keeled over in this scene and died.
