Answer: Troy McClure

Troy is hosting from Laughlin, Nevada. The girls are all representing the states they are from with costumes of landmarks or something their state is related to. Lionel Hutz is a lawyer and I doubt he would be hosting a beauty pageant.
2. Which character does Ned play in the play?

Answer: Stanley

Ned plays the role of Stanley who agitates Blanche (played by Marge) through the musical. Stanley is the brother-in-law of Blanche. Ned said he has already been part of the play to Marge in the episode.
3. What is the name of the man who is directing the play?

Answer: Llewellyn Sinclair

Llewelyn Sinclair is the director of the musical, who has directed three other musicals, including "Hats off to Hanukkah" and he has had three heart attacks from the plays he has directed.

Marge is being held up by strings in a laser scene in the play. Lisa explains to Bart why she is in the laser scene because Bart thinks it is cool.

Homer looks sad and does not cheer at the end of the play when Marge receives flowers. At the end of the play Homer explains why he is sad. He is sad about Blanche in the play and Marge is happy when Homer explains.
