Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Lana appeared on the cover of what famous magazine as a child?

Answer: Time

In 1987, right after the meteor shower, Lana was featured on the cover of "Time Magazine", crying in her fairy princess costume right after the meteor shower had killed her parents. The caption read "HEARTBREAK IN THE HEARTLAND".
2. What is the name of the old theater that Lana used to set up her coffee shop?

Answer: The Talon

The theater is important to her because it was where her parents first met, while watching "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". She was able to get Lex to invest some money into keeping the Talon alive after he bought the property off her Aunt Nell.
3. When answering Chloe's student body poll question, what did Lana say was her deepest desire?

Answer: Climb a windmill.

This was in the episode "Nicodemus". Lana later became infected by the Nicodemus flower, which allowed her inner bad girl to surface. She stole Lex's car and drove to the windmill in Chandler's Field, but collapsed as she was scaling to the top. Luckily, Clark was right there to save her as always.
4. After Aunt Nell moved to the city with her new fiancé, who offered Lana a place to stay until she finished high school?

Answer: Chloe Sullivan

At first Lana was resistant, but she ultimately accepted the offer from Chloe and her father. Although she was living under their roof, Lana confessed to Clark that she didn't really feel like a part of the Sullivan family.
5. What was the former occupation of Lana's biological father, Henry Small?

Answer: lawyer

Lana had urged Henry to take on Jonathan Kent's case when he had been framed for murder, but he resisted, having been intimidated out of practicing law after an incident involving a case against Lionel Luthor years earlier.
6. What is the name of Lana's horse that she kept at the Kent farm?

Answer: Tyson

Lex had offered Lana full use of his stables for Tyson, but she refused and took Clark up on his offer instead. Tyson was brought back from the brink of death by the mysterious Cyrus in the episode "Visitor".
7. Who was Lana's deceased childhood friend that mysteriously reappeared in what seemed like spirit form?

Answer: Emily Dinsmore

Emily was actually a clone created by her father during a LuthorCorp experiment. She had heightened abilities which made it seem as if she could appear and disappear at will. She showed up again later and held Lana prisoner in a barn. Her scheme was foiled by Clark.
8. What was the name of Lana's aunt who was featured in the '50s themed episode "Relic"?

Answer: Louise

9. Lana was killed in what episode?

Answer: Crisis

She was shot in the back by Adam Knight while calling Clark for help. After kryptonite surged through some power lines, the call was miraculously transmitted back to the day before the shooting, giving Clark an opportunity to prevent her from being killed again.
10. Lana is the descendent of a powerful 17th century countess. What is her name?

Answer: Isobel Thoreaux

Lana became connected with the Countess after etching a brass rubbing on her tomb in Paris for an art project. She later bought Isobel's spell book on the internet to find out more about her, but ended up becoming possessed by the spirit of the ancient witch.
