Strangely enough, people on the show have survived calling her Dottie before. In one episode, she kept having to do a take over and over again because she couldn't say her own name right. Yakko and Wakko got tired of it, and when she angrily told Yakko to try saying it sometimes, he did so, correctly. Her sarcastic reply is, "Thank you, Mister 'United States-Canada-Mexico-Panama.'" These are the first four Nations in Yakko's, "Nations of the World," song.
