Roseanne spoke to one of the robbers and is able to help the police by giving a description of the guy. She tells the cops the man resembled Bob Hope, who later appears in a police lineup.

Bob Hope starred in seven "Road To..." movies with Bing Crosby, including "Road to Singapore" and "The Road to Hong Kong". The comedian and actor was also known for his humanitarian work and was declared an honorary veteran of the U.S. armed forces in 1996.

During the celebration, Roseanne and Darlene actually meet Loretta Lynn when she stops by The Lunchbox's booth to order a loose meat sandwich.

Loretta Lynn began her career at age 24 singing at the Delta Grange Hall in Washington State. By the early 1960s Loretta was part of the country music scene in Nashville Tennessee, and in 1967, Loretta had her first number one hit with the song "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)", making her the first woman in country music to receive a certified gold album.
