1. Because of Blake's reputation as a political activist, for what crime did the Terran Justice System decide to frame him for in order to get Blake deported to the penal colony on Cygnus Alpha?

Answer: Child molestation

The Terran Justice System feared that Blake would become a martyr given his past, and that the truth about the massacre he witnessed would come out. In order to discredit Blake, they came up with the false charge that he assaulted three children so people would revile him.
2. One of the people Blake met in the holding cell before boarding the prison ship London was Jenna Stannis. For which crime was Jenna convicted of that warranted her being transported to Cygnus Alpha?

Answer: Smuggling

Jenna was an expert pilot and smuggler until she got caught. Although the nature of what Jenna was smuggling was never revealed, in a later episode it was discovered she did have some scrupples about what she smuggled.
3. Another person Blake met in the holding cell was Vila Restal, who stole Blake's watch. What was Vila good at that warranted him to be transported to Cygnus Alpha?

Answer: Opening locked doors

Vila was usually called upon because of his ability to open doors and bypass security systems. A repeat offender, he was finally sentenced for transportation to Cygnus Alpha. He once told Blake there wasn't any door he couldn't open if he was scared enough.

Answer: Stealing money from a bank

Avon had attempted to steal several million credits from the Federation Central Bank. He thought that because of this the love of his life Anna Grant was captured and killed. What Avon later learned was that Anna Grant was the person who had betrayed him to the authorities.

Answer: He was given a limiter implant.

Gan had been given limiter implant to curb his violent urges. Though he could still use his strength, his ability to harm someone and kill them was impaired. The limiter implant though nearly killed him when it malfunctioned and needed repair.

Answer: Telepathy

Cally was telepathic, a trait some of her people shared on her home world of Auron, including her cloned twin sister. It came in use for alerting others to danger without having to speak to them directly without calling out to them, thus giving herself away.

Answer: Zen

Zen was the the Liberator's main computer controlling all the ships functions, with the exception of the teleport system. Zen was sometimes uncooperative if it felt the ship was in danger or refused to give certain information that was beyond Zen's capabilities.
8. Blake's nemesis was Space Commander Travis, an overzealous Federation officer whom Blake had maimed. Travis was going to face a court martial when Servalan recruited him to hunt down and capture Blake. For what charge was Travis going to be court martialed?

Answer: Murdering innocent civilians

Travis was due to face a court martial for ordering the murder a group of innocent and unarmed civilians. When Travis became a liability to Servalan, Travis did face a court martial for his crime. However he escaped during the confusion caused when Blake attacked Servalan's headquarters where the trial was being held.
9. When Servalan first appeared, what was her rank in the Federation?

Answer: Supreme Commander

Although Servalan was to become President of the Terran Federation, she was Supreme Commander of its armed forces when first seen in 'Blake's 7'. In the episode entitled "Traitor" from series four she was also described as being Supreme Empress, where it was also revealed she had changed her name to Commissioner Sleer.
10. In which series/season did the characters of Dayna, Tarrant and Soolin join "Blake's 7"?

Answer: Series 3 and 4

Dayna was first seen in the series 3 Episode "Aftermath". An expert in weaponry she was found by Avon living on the planet Sarran, living with her father Hal and adopted sister Lauren. Servalan was responsible for killing Dayna's father after disabling the device Hal used to see, with Dayna vowing to killer Servalan if she ever saw her again.

Tarrant was first seen in the series 3 episode "Powerplay", as Avon and Dayna teleported back on board the Liberator with Orac. Tarrant was leading a group of Federation guards who had commandeered the Liberator, but really he was an ex Federation officer who had turned to illegal activities.

Soolin was first seen in the series 4 episode "Rescue" as the girlfriend of Dorian who had rescued Avon, Dayna, Vila and Tarrant from Terminal before the planet exploded. Soolin was an expert gunslinger taught by the man who had murdered her parents, before killing those responsible for her parents deaths.
