This episode was in season 1. Pamela Adler had been shot in the head, yet she was 'too tough to die'. Sara got very emotional as she was working on this case because the man who had done it would get a few years in jail, and Pamela would have to spend the rest of her life on the edge of death.

2. In the episode 'Sounds of Silence', Grissom interviews a teenager by reading his brainwaves and showing him pictures. What was this teenager's name?

Answer: Paul Arrington

Grissom had to read Paul's brainwaves because Paul could not read lips or use sign language. Grissom showed Paul a picture of his head teacher, and his brain waves recognised her, then he showed a picture of the crime scene which Paul didn't recognise.
