Extras was written and directed by Ricky Gervais, who also plays Andy Millman. Each episode featured a celebrity portraying an exaggerated version of themselves. Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet, Orlando Bloom and David Bowie have all appeared in various episodes.
2. Terry, Bob, Audrey and Thelma appeared in which sitcom sequel?

Answer: Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads

This was the colour sequel to 'The Likely Lads'. Terry is back from his stint in the army and is reunited with his friend Bob. This series came to an end in 1974, Terry and Bob were reunited once more in the film 'The Likely Lads', which was released in 1976.
3. Bill, Ben and Rona appeared in which sitcom that aired on BBC1 for nine years?

This successful sitcom also starred the wonderful Liz Smith as Bill's mother Bette. Liz Smith later played Nana in the 'Royle Family'.

This cult comedy was written by Julian Barratt (Moon) and Noel Fielding (Noir). The first series followed the adventures of Noir and Moon in a zoo called 'Bob Fossil's Funworld'.

A film 'The League of Gentlemen's apocalypse' was released in 2005, in which the characters of Royston Vasey discover that they are fictional, they find their way into the real world to confront the writers. It was weird but it worked!

'Bread' was written by Carla Lane, and it ran from 1986 to 199l. The Boswell family were: Nellie, her estranged husband Freddy and their offspring, Joey, Jack, Adrian, Aveline and Billy. Their cantankerous grandad lived next door; in almost every episode he could be heard saying 'Where's me tea?'.
7. Brian Potter, Paddy, Max and Ray Von appear in which comedy?

Answer: Peter Kaye's Phoenix Nights

'Peter Kaye's Phoenix Nights' first aired in 2001 and was written by Neil Fitzmaurice, Peter Kaye and Dave Spikey. Its spin-off 'Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere' has been equally successful.
