Co-written by Jack Whitehall, "Bad Education" sees him play Alfie Wickers, a newly qualified teacher who is out of his depth. Not only does he have to contend with his class nicknamed "Special K" because of their lack of intelligence, but also a headmaster who thinks he is cool, whilst treated with contempt by the tyrannical deputy head of the school Miss Pickwell.

In addition, Alfie is also in love with a fellow teacher, and often ropes in Joe - one of Alfie's pupils - to help him impress his colleague.

Answer: Pramface

"Pramface" takes its name from a term used for teenage mothers who are barely out of school. In this comedy, the character of Jamie ends up sleeping with Laura at a party, only to find out some time later she is pregnant. Hindered somewhat by his friend Mike, Jamie tries to set things right with a reluctant Laura, ending up with Laura giving birth in a passageway of a local shopping centre. Series 2 then follows Jamie and Laura as they deal with being young parents.

Answer: Bluestone 42

"Bluestone 42" follows a team of bomb disposal experts working in Afghanistan. Lead by Captain Nick Medhurst, this bunch of misfits tackle life with a dark sense of humour whilst trying to defuse explosive devices left by insurgents. Added to this, Medhurst is also in love with the newly appointed padre, Major Mary Greenstock, a reformed gambler.

Answer: Coming of Age

"Coming of Age" first aired in 2007 and follows a group of friends who use to hang out in a shed as well as the college canteen. The characters of Matt and Chloe are childhood friends who have become lovers. Whilst Matt is dim, Chloe is a bunny-boiling mummy's girl. Jasmine has dreams of becoming a star, whilst her boyfriend Ollie has a fixation with a life size cut out of "Top Gear" presenter, Jeremy Clarkson. D.K. is a rebel without a clue, having a love-hate relationship with the college principal, Jane Reed, with Jane acting as almost a surrogate mother to D.K.

Answer: Gavin and Stacey

Co-written by James Corden and Ruth Jones, "Gavin and Stacey" is a comedy that follows the life of two people as they meet and fall in love with one another despite living in different parts of the country. Countering this is the story of their best friends. Gavin's mate Smith has a love-hate relationship with Stacey's friend Nessa, who ends up getting pregnant by Smithy before ending up engaged to another man.

Answer: Lee Nelson's Well Good Show

"Lee Nelson's Well Good Show" first aired in 2010. In it, Brodkin's alter ego of Lee Nelson does a stand up comedy routine, aided by his best mate Omelette and his grandmother who sings bad karaoke songs. As well as this there are sketches featuring footballer Jason Bent, called "110% Bent", Dr. Bob in "Hospital Life" and "Faliraki Nights", a spoof documentary about club reps.

Some of the characters from "Lee Nelson's Well Good Show" are now part of another comedy series created by Simon Brodkin called "Lee Nelson's Well Funny People".

Answer: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

Originally broadcast on BBC 2, "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps" took its title from a song by 1980s punk rock group Splogenessabounds. The series moved to BBC 3 (then named BBC Choice) after the second series - being rebroadcast on BBC 2. Starring Ralf Little, Sheridan Smith and Will Mellor, the series features a group of young twentysomthings living in Runcorn, Cheshire and their relationships with one another.

In "White Man Van", Will Mellor plays Ollie, a young man forced to take over his ailing father's handyman business. Assisted - though often hindered - by Darren, Ollie also has to face up to a former girlfriend who returns to the town where he lives. In addition, Ollie is blamed of a girl getting pregnant - though it turns out Darren is the father.

Answer: Lunch Monkeys

Only running for two series, "Lunch Monkeys" features a group of workers who spent most of their time slacking off. Two of the characters, Asif and Darrell, spend most of their time trying to compete with one another, whilst Darrell also tries to impress new girl Shelley. Kenny is in love with co-worker Tania, who is dating one of the solicitors working at the law firm, whilst the supervisor, Gloria ties to impress the senior partner in the company.

Answer: Russell Howard's Good News

Presented by stand up comedian Russell Howard, "Russell Howard's Good News" has Russell commenting on various news stories from around the world. In addition, Russell also has a mystery guest that has been in the news, where Russell has to guess that person's claim to fame.

Broadcast during the same week is an extended version of the programme where Russell invites young, up and coming new comedians on to his show to do a stand up routine.
