Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where is the Al Qaeda cell, that Bullock has found, camped out?

Answer: Algeria

Bullock comes in Stan's office to tell him and another colleague that an Al Qaeda cell has been found on a camping trip in Algeria. Stan is eager to go attack them until Bullock says he will be left behind to book the flights because as a family man, he is too valuable to risk on the mission. Stan's sadness is then increased when Bullock is shown to be wearing new cargo shorts, which he goes to show off to an agent off-screen.
2. How much time does Stan put on the bomb's timer?

Answer: one minute

To attempt to convince Bullock to give him more missions in the field, Stan plants a bomb in Bullock's office so he can defuse it and appear to be a hero. When we first see the bomb, it starts counting down from one minute, and Stan runs in to defuse it.

He puts on his glasses to see the wires better, but they immediately fall and break, prompting Stan to remember when Francine gave him a chain for his reading glasses, and himself falsely saying he would definitely wear them. Now panicking, Stan does not know what to do. With one second left to go, Stan's arch-rival at the office, Duper, cuts the yellow wire and saves the day.
3. What does Stan's father say he works for?

Answer: Scarlet Alliance

The first morning Stan's father, Jack, spends with his family, he makes them all eggs, (which Stan says must have been plucked from the ovaries of an angel because they're so delicious). Over breakfast, Haley remarks that Jack must be a CIA fascist like her father. He says that he actually belongs to the Scarlet Alliance, an even more secretive organization that is better in every way.
4. Who does Stan shoot at the shooting range?

Answer: painter

Jack takes Stan to the shooting range to ask him to come on a mission with him; according to his story, Jack is retiring and wants Stan to takes his place in the Scarlet Alliance. If Stan does a good job helping Jack recover uranium that has been smuggled in artwork at the museum, Stan will get the job. Stan then jumps for joy, firing his gun into the air several times.

A bloodied painter, complete with his smock, palate, and brush, then falls through the ceiling and lands at the Smiths' feet.
5. Where does Stan keep Francine while he thinks she's a spy?

Answer: basement

When Francine stumbles upon Jack's phony mustache, (which matches an FBI description of a jewel thief she has just been given), she makes him tell Stan the truth. What he actually does is tell Stan Francine is a spy who will falsely claim that Jack is a thief. To keep Francine from holding him back any further, he puts her in a sealed cell in the middle of the basement. (The cell is made of either glass or hard plastic; which one it is was never made clear.)
6. Whose painting does Stan desecrate to escape the vault?

Answer: Picasso

When Stan and Jack reach the vault at the museum with the jewels, Stan finally sees that his father is a jewel thief. Jack promptly rushes out of the cage where the jewels are kept in the vault while Stan isn't watching and locks the door behind him. Stan must then figure out a way to hit the door lock button on the wall from the cage he is now trapped in. Stan then rips off a strip from one of Picasso's paintings that is also in the vault, (saying Picasso is finally good for something), folds it into a tabletop football, and flicks it across the room.

He hits the button with it and is now free to go after his father.
7. Jack keeps his promise that Stan's car is the last thing he will steal.

Answer: False

After Stan escapes and catches Jack, they make a deal where Stan will let Jack go but Jack must give back the jewels and never steal anything again. Shortly after Jack leaves, Stan notices his car keys are gone. Jack rushes by in Stan's SUV, and swears on his grandchildrens' lives that the car is the last thing he will ever steal.

However, he immediately stops by a parking meter, breaks it open, collects all the coins that are pouring out, and speeds off.
8. How many times does Francine hit Stan with a lamp?

Answer: 2

Naturally, Francine is very upset that Stan has kept her locked up all this time. (She mentions that she is specifically upset that Stan didn't give her any laundry to fold, since she hates down time.) When Stan comes into her cell to apologize, she hits him with a lamp for not giving her the laundry. She also hits him again later on, when Stan tries to apologize.
9. Throughout the episode, there is a recurring joke about love and adventure being more valuable than money, but then love is sarcastically said to be worthless. For example, "Bill Gates, it turns out I'm the richest man in the world because I have my family's love." How many times in the episode is this joke used?

Answer: 3

The first time, Stan is disappointed about not being on the mission to Algeria, so Francine tells him that he is the richest man in the world because he has his family's love. Stan gets out his cell phone and pretends to tell Bill Gates that he is the world's richest man because he has his family's love.

The second time, Stan tells Francine that he wants to go on a field mission because he is full of adventure. Francine gets out her cell phone and pretends to talk to a college, and says that she does not have any money, but her husband is rich in adventure. Francine asks if she can pay her son's tuition in adventure and puts away the phone, which prompts Stan to ask what they said.

The third time, Stan has just realized that his father is a thief, and asks him how he could favor jewels over his son's love. Jack takes out his cell phone and pretends to ask the French Rivieras if he can buy a chateau with his son's love. Stan then says that they all know the gag and rushes the scene along.
10. When Stan realizes the truth, he lets Francine go free again.

Answer: False

Stan is about to let Francine out, but while they kiss and make up, the door shuts behind them, trapping them both in the cell. Roger (dressed liked his new hero Jack, but still not knowing Jack is a thief) comes in to see what is happening. Stan and Francine tell him to let them out, but Roger does not do it, since Jack said Francine is a spy.

He then leaves the basement and shuts off the light, leaving Stan and Francine trapped in the darkness.
