Aleksandra "Alex" Walas, played by Barbara Liberek, is the protagonist/heroine of "Cracow Monsters." Her university roommate diagnoses Alex as schizophrenic and urges her to get into therapy. Her grandmother is alive and provides her with information about her birth and of how her mother felt pursued by a demonic power.

The shining white "person" who appears and protects Alex from time to time is her guardian angel. While Lucky and Alex are in a bar, the minor Slavic deity Pivka, who usually moves people to become thoroughly intoxicated, warns them off from drinking a beverage poisoned by demons.

Identical twin Hollowshees crawl naked out of black water. One goes to the club where Alex and Lucky are having a drink and tries to put a potion in their drinks. The other goes to the research community's dorm and possesses Gigi, played by Daniel Namiotko, by having sex with him repeatedly. The group captures this second demon, exorcizes Gigi, and releases the Hollowshee in hopes of following her back to the Boy. They fail.

The Professor's son Feliks is ill and in hospital. He suffers from an unknown and incurable ailment which is on the verge of killing him. The Professor makes a bargain with the possessed Boy Rafel to exchange a newborn baby, stolen from the hospital, in return for the life of his son. He delivers the baby, knowing that it will be sacrificed.

Answer: He dug up a statue of Triglav.

Robert, played by Wojciech Brzezinski , is an archaeologist who discovers a statue of Triglav on a dig. He takes the statue home with him. It exudes black water which has evil magical power. It leads him to the mortuary where the body of the Boy Rafel is reposed. The Boy awakens and begins to command Robert, who thereafter calls him Master.

Alex's guardian angel is a bright-shining light-emitting creature who is always nearby. The Professor's search for her is derailed by this guardian angel. The encounter with the Winter Spas is averted by the intervention of her guardian angel. After she meets her mother's spirit in the underworld, she is guided out by her guardian angel.

The curse on Kraków was invoked by Hvor, god of the underworld. The curse could be broken by capturing Hvor. He had to be captured rather than killed because it is a sin to kill a god, no matter how evil that god may be. Robert escapes from the Boy and brings the statue of Triglav to Alex. At the very hour when Triglav was to appear (5 January 2022 at nine pm.), she killed Hvor and burnt the statue. Back at medical school, an entity appears and tells her that, because she broke an eternal law by killing a god, she would have to pay.
