1. Jamie Mitchell was run over by Martin Fowler and was killed, but do you know what Jamie had just bought for Sonia, and was holding when the car hit him?

Answer: flowers

Hehad just got them from the market stall and did not notice that Martin Fowler was heading towards him in the car, and he died a few days later in hospital.
2. Steve Owen, Lisa Fowler and Melanie Owen tried to get away from Walford with baby Louise, but Phil Mitchell was not going to let them go easily. Steve Owen was killed, but how did he die?

Answer: his car went up in flames

Steve died a hero by saving baby Louise, as he passed her over to Phil and didn't have any time to save himself - although Phil did have time to help, if he had wanted to.
3. We all know that Frank Butcher has left Walford, but Peggy Mitchell got a phone call saying that Frank had died, but how did he die?

Answer: he didn't really die

4. Dot Branning's grandson crashed Mark Fowler's motorbike into the wall and died, but what was his name?

Answer: Ashley Cotton

Ashley took Mark Fowler's motorbike, unknowing that his father, Nick, had tinkered with it in the hope that it would cause serious harm or death to his enemy, Mark.
5. The very first scene of EastEnders, in February 1985, showed the almost-dead Reg Cox, who later died in hospital. Do you know who was responsible for his death?

Answer: Nick Cotton

Nick confessed this to Den Watts over Christmas 1988 as they were forced to spend time together in prison.
6. Phil Mitchell didn't die when he was shot, although he did come close. Who was such a bad shot that he/she did not do a very good job of relieving Albert Square of this tyrant?

Answer: Lisa Fowler

Dan got the blame for the shooting; it was Phil's testimony which tipped the balance with the police, even though Phil was perfectly well aware of who had shot him.
7. Trevor Morgan set the Slater house on fire and tried to kill little Mo and his own son along with himself. Who was to rescue Little Mo and the baby, and lose his own life in the process?

Answer: Tom Banks

Tom was a fireman, and went into the house to save lives. When Trevor was the last one left the petrol he had taken into the house exploded and that was the end of them both.
8. Patrick Truman came to live with his two sons in Albert Square, but did he arrive before or after his estranged wife, Audrey, died?

Answer: after

9. Who was run over, but didn't die, on the day that Robbie Jackson left Walford for India?

Answer: Wellard (the dog)

Wellard was Robbie's dog. He loved him so much he wasn't sure if he could leave Walford with him critically ill at the vets, but Gus persuaded him to leave Wellard in his care. Later Wellard was to be the hero when a group of young Walfordians were lost in the Scottish Highlands.
10. Roy Evans finally died of a heart attack after a few near-misses, but what was it that caused this last, fatal, attack?

Answer: Pat keeping Ricky and Natalie's affair a secret

Pat knew all along about Ricky and Natalie but thought it best to keep it from Roy and Barry as Natalie finished the affair. When Roy found out he had a heart attack brought on by the strain of the event. Barry, angry that Pat had played a part in the deception, refused to allow her to even stay in her own home, and she moved into a bedsit.
