David was Pat's eldest son and he was born while she was married to Pete Beale. Pete believed he was David's father, but Pat revealed at a later date that he was the son of Pete's brother Kenny. This also turned out to be false.
2. Who killed Eddie Royle?

Answer: Nick Cotton

Eddie Royle was the landlord of the Queen Vic. Nick Cotton was seen climbing down the drainpipe of the Vic, on the night of the murder. His mother Dot managed to get him to confess to the murder and duly informed the police.
3. What was the name of Ali Osman's wife?

Answer: Sue

Ali and his wife Sue owned the Bridge Street cafe. Ali, however, was heavily into gambling and frittered away most of the profits from the cafe.
4. Who had an affair with Arthur Fowler?

Answer: Christine Hewitt

Arthur got a bit of gardening work from a lonely divorcee, Christine Hewitt. The affair started after his wife Pauline had left for a few months to look after her brother in New Zealand.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh made their visit in November 2001. They watched the filming of a scene in the Queen Vic. A fake scene was specially written for them, as there were too many press around to risk leaking a real storyline.

Answer: Roberta Taylor

Roberta was born in London in 1948 and joined "EastEnders" in 1997. After she left in 2000, she joined the cast of "The Bill". Her first book, "Too Many Mothers", was published in October 2005.
10. Which couple got married in June 2004?

Answer: Martin and Sonia

Martin and Sonia sneaked off to Scotland to get married, as they did not want the sort of wedding that Martin's mum Pauline was planning for them. When they returned, however, they had to move in with Pauline as they didn't have enough money to start up on their own.
