Aeryn is attempting to learn English when Chiana comes up and asks her how it's going. Meanwhile, John is floating outside looking for a wormhole that he "particularly likes." The wormhole opens up and John is sucked in before he can get pulled back to Moya.

John wakes up on an iceberg and says, "Kansas in the winter. D'Argo! Pilot! I'm getting that going to the Island of the Misfit Toys thing. Just waiting on the Titanic. Well, as long as this whole deal doesn't end up with me as an old man. Hello! Nanook! Beelzebub!" Kansas is yet another "Wizard of Oz" reference made in the series.

The Island of Misfit Toys comes from the classic Christmas show "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Titanic sank from an iceberg, and ending up as an old man referenced "2001: A Space Odyssey" when the main character ends up in a room where he grows old, dies, and gets born again as a baby. "Nanook of the North" is a documentary and Beelzebub is another name for the devil.

Answer: Einstein

John calls the strange character Einstein, since he seems to have all the answers. Einstein says that Ancients are members of his species who have been modified to live in John's realm. He says they were the ones who took Moya down the wormhole to study, expecting to find a Pathfinder ship. John's name came up a lot when they were questioned about wormholes. He also says that John is there to perish and he is there to make certain of that outcome.

Answer: Man of the Year

Einstein says the word "time" several times, trying to get a response from John, who says the following to each "time." 's up; flies; bandits; wounds all heels; rosemary and thyme. John then shoots at Einstein who freezes time and the pulse blast seems to stop in mid-air.

Answer: Relives events from the pilot episode

John finds himself on Moya, just like in the first episode, and he narrates his way through the events, telling D'Argo to rip open the control panel and the DRD's to hurry up with the translator microbes before he speaks to D'Argo, then he ducks Rygel when the Dominar spits at him, then saying he wants to hurry things up, he stands and says, "What is the matter with you people?" Then he points at his neck and says, "Tongue." D'Argo, just like in the first episode, tongues John, who wakes up back on the iceberg.

Answer: Earth is conquered by Peacekeepers

One unrealized reality John finds is he is dressed as a Peacekeeper and Sikozu is arrested as a Scarran spy. John ends up shooting her with a smile on his face. Another has Aeryn dressed up and acting like Chiana, saying everyone else has been killed by the Sheyangs. And another is when John relives his first meeting with Aeryn, but this time she snaps his neck before Einstein brings him back to the iceberg. Another one has the Scarrans ruling Earth and Scorpius playing John's dad to a Scarran-like John.

Answer: Everyone mourns John's death

Though everyone speaks about John in past tense, no one really seems to mourn him, though DK breaks down once during the interview. Others from John's life are interviewed - Zhaan, Crais, Stark, his old English teacher, his gym coach, his ex-girlfriend Caroline, a reverend, and a female scientist.

At first everyone raves about him, how smart and kind and brilliant he is and how much better they are for having known him, and the ex says he was good in bed. Then they talk bad about him, about how vain and arrogant and stubborn he was, Stark saying he is glad John's dead, and the ex says he was lousy in bed and implies he isn't "much" of a man. And at the end, no one seems to remember him at all.

Answer: Arriving to a familiar place earlier than you left

After John is "killed" by Aeryn in an unrealized reality, Einstein tells John, "Every wormhole system has millions of exits, each to a distinct time and place. Travel from A to B. Now attempt to travel back. You could arrive at point A immediately after you left or a cycle later or a cycle earlier or ten or ten thousand of millions of permutations." The secret, he tells John, is not understanding time, but accounting for it. "Should a traveler appear earlier in the timeline of his own existence, he would be but as a pebble cast upon still water.

But the ripples he creates would, over time, radiate upon far distant shores, geometrically altering events in its path." Later, the people being interviewed say, "And never return to a familiar place... prior to the last time you left. ...Your next journey... may lead to a permanent unrealized reality.

Answer: Sikozu as Scorpius

Aeryn is Chiana, while Rygel is D'Argo and Chiana is Noranti and Noranti is Rygel and D'Argo is Jool (a disturbing image) and Sikozu is Stark. There is also a very rude and mean Pilot. A bizarre scene to say the least, but Rygel as D'Argo was my favorite combo. It ends with Crais coming in and killing everyone, then telling John, "Well done, comrade."

Answer: Dorothy Gale from Kansas

Preparing to get himself back to Moya at just the right time by focusing, John tells Einstein, "Ah, screw it. But I am not Kirk, Spock, Luke, Buck, Flash or Arthur frelling Dent. I'm Dorothy Gale from Kansas." John goes through the wormhole and finds himself floating in space over Earth. When he realizes Moya is of course no where near him, he says, "Oops," as a "To Be Continued" pops up...
