Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which woman always rents a chicken suit for Memorial Day?

Answer: Barbra Streisand

No relation to the famous singer.

While trying to return her purse, Odie accidentally found himself involved in a crime ring of purse-snatching dogs. After convincing the other dogs that they were being used, Odie escaped and found Garfield, who tricked the criminals who orchestrated the purse-snatchings into running into a police station. They were promptly arrested.
2. When Double Oh Orson was to go to a newsstand to receive an attaché case, what was the codename that W said Vinny would identify him by?

Answer: Gemstone

This instruction was part of a very long and complicated directive that didn't seem to accomplish anything. As it turned out, that was the idea, as it was all part of a secret plot to trick Pinfeather into thinking Double Oh Orson was fired from the spy business. That way, Pinfeather would attempt to hire him, and Double Oh Orson would discover his secret hideout.

The plan worked like a charm.
3. How long had it been since Wade loaned Roy five dollars without being paid back?

Answer: Fourteen years

Every time Wade would ask for his money back, Roy would name something scary (e.g. a ladybug), and Wade would flee in terror. Orson decided to teach him a lesson about being brave and taking initiative. Unbeknownst to them, Roy discovered their plan and tampered with Orson's history book, putting Wade on one of Columbus' ships and sailing it off the edge of the earth.
4. On what holiday does Gort bathe, whether he needs it or not?

Answer: Halloween

To be specific, that is the ONLY time that Gort bathes. Ew.

When Orson discovered his grandfather's diary, he learned of a chocolate mine some distance from the farm. Unfortunately, Orson's brothers spotted him, tied him up, and feasted on the mine themselves. Fortunately for Orson, his brothers were washed out of the mine by the chocolate, which melted in the hot July sun.
5. Which of these was NOT an ingredient in the casserole Jon made that proved he had inherited Tony Arbuckoli's horrible cooking skills?

Answer: Chicken

While Tony's pizzas were terrible, they did make for great Frisbees. He became a rich man, but the cat (the one who looks like Garfield and who just happens to be in all of these episodes) made him sign a contract that promised that he would never cook (or sing) again.
6. Who inspected Jon's defective parachute when he decided to take up skydiving?

Answer: Number 27

As Garfield said when Jon's chute didn't open, "Number 27, you're in a lot of trouble."

Jon's skydiving exploits were part of a new segment hosted by Garfield titled, "Great Moments in Stupidity". Most of those moments focused on Jon, but Garfield decided to clear an entire week for the episode devoted to dogs.
7. What is Sylvia's (of Sylvia's Diet Center fame) last name?

Answer: Svelte

Sylvia did not happily eat the food from her diet center, as it was all extremely tiny and disgusting. When Garfield introduced her to real food, she turned out to be a huge eater, messily devouring an entire uncut pizza with her bare hands. She was so grateful to Garfield that she refunded all of Jon's money (and everyone else's, as well).
8. According to a new rule devised by Garfield, how often does the show have to do a happy ending?

Answer: Once every nine weeks

After being tricked into a date rigged so that a beautiful woman would dump Jon on live television, the receptionist of the show "Dream Date" expressed concern for Jon's emotional state. Garfield pointed out that she was genuinely interested in him, which is a good thing because Jon wouldn't have known otherwise.
9. When Garfield was giving his presentation on annoying things, Annoying Thing #5 was door-to-door salesmen of what item?

Answer: Alligators

Annoying Thing #14 was people who leave their Christmas lights up until July. Annoying Thing #15 was people who put them up in August.
10. If you're building a Schlocko! Wolf Alarm, what color does the handle of the crescent wrench have to be?

Answer: Green

The wolf introduced the concept of procrastination to the farm, which meant that none of the precautions (the wolf alarm, the wolf ejector, and the wolf fence) were prepared when the wolf came by to steal the chickens. Once he did, however, Roy, Wade, and Bo all realized that they should have done their chores earlier and built the wolf ejector in a matter of seconds.

The other two were presumably built later.
