The story about the widow Caravelli is probably one of the better 'picture it' stories about Sicily. Dorothy doesn't believe the story and says Sophia is making it up. Sophia replies, "So what, I'm old. I'm supposed to be colorful!"

After the girls explain to Mr. Pfeiffer that they are there to pick out a coffin, he says to them, "Ah, planning ahead for mom." (referring to Sophia). In traditional Sophia style she angrily retorts back to him, "Hey P-feiffer, how would you like a punch in your p-face!"

Marguerite gives Blanche the 'love potion' then Dorothy gives Blanche a hard time about it and tells her that the potion is just some kind of made up fake concoction. But Dorothy then goes on to say that if it does actually work she'd sell her mother (Sophia) for an ounce.

Dorothy unwittingly runs into Stan's fiancee for the first time at a bar in the hotel where the wedding is going to take place. At first they don't know who each other really are, but soon Dorothy realizes it after Stan's fiancee confides in her that Stan is the best lover she's ever had. Dorothy replies back, "You haven't been around much have you?"

Answer: Marvin Mitchelson

Marvin Mitchelson played himself as Stan's attorney in this episode, and his role was to present a prenuptial contract for Dorothy to sign. She subsequently hits Stan over the head with it (we presume, because we hear Stan yelling 'ouch!' and the sound of someone getting hit off camera.) The scene later ends with Dorothy calling off the wedding and telling Stan to get out of the house before SHE needs a lawyer too. Marvin then hands Dorothy his card and says, "I think you got a case!"
