In the background, you can see a spotted dog lying on top of a red doghouse. George Sr. sulks in Mexico, Tobias at the model home, and Gob in the office when he appears as Poof Magazine's goof of the year. Every time someone sulks, a song from "Charlie Brown" plays, and the title of this episode, "Good Grief", is a reference to Charlie Brown's famous line.
