Answer: Brandon Heat

Maria and Brandon were very close, and she was the reason Brandon became a part of Millenion's Family. Brandon hid the fact that he was a high-level member of the syndicate until the pressure finally got to him. He told Maria that his "work" was assassinating anyone who betrayed the syndicate. After that, Maria and Brandon parted ways.

Answer: He got in Harry's way

Brandon refused to allow his best friend, Harry, to betray the syndicate. He pulled a gun on Harry, but didn't have the heart to shoot him. To repay this, Harry shot Brandon several times and killed him. Brandon is later resurrected by Necro-Rise and takes on the name "Beyond the Grave". As Grave, it is his goal to hunt down and kill Harry.

Answer: Never Betray

There is only one possible future for anyone who betrays Millennion: death. This theme of betrayal and vengeance is the foundation of the series.

Answer: Big Daddy

After "breaking up" with Brandon, Maria has the child of the former leader of Millennion. However, after Harry takes over the syndicate, he kills Big Daddy, Maria, and her daughter Mika.

Answer: Give their friends a proper burial

When their three friends were killed, Brandon and Harry didn't have the money to give them real graves. They made due with three marked mounds of dirt. Unfortunately, they never did make good on their promise.

When standing at Brandon's gravesite, Harry explained to Big Daddy that Brandon had betrayed the syndicate and therefore had to be executed. After this explanation, Big Daddy told Harry that he was lying, then implored Harry to kill him. Harry refused, saying that he still needed support as leader of Millennion. He does, however, kill Big Daddy later on.

Answer: Balladbird Lee

Lee was providing Lightning with information regarding Millennion's actions. Instead of being killed as per the rules regarding the breaking of the "iron law", Lee was spared.

Answer: Overkill

Aptly named, Overkill is the cavalry sent in when big problems arise concerning the syndicate. It is led by one of the prominent members of Millennion; Bear Walken. Bear is the father of Sherri, who is Harry's girlfriend.

Answer: Trigun

The animal is called a "Thomas", and is the main steed in the anime series "Trigun". These animals are seen mostly in the first few episodes, before Brandon becomes a well-known sweeper and when he is working to collect money from the races. This series looks, at first glance, to be from the same creators as "Hellsing".

They aren't, even though Brandon (in the first part of the series) looks very similar to Alucard (but then, for that matter, Lee reminded me of Saitou from "Rurouni Kenshin").

Answer: "Back from the dead"

There are many phrases written there, which is very reminiscent of "Hellsing", hinting that the two are related. In fact, "Hellsing" was created by Kohta Hirano, and "Gungrave" was created by Yasuhiro Nightow.
