Luke runs his diner by himself for a while, and then he ends up hiring Caesar and Lane as his only help. Luke lives in his father's old office upstairs. Lorelai lives in the tool shed of the Independence Inn for a while, but eventually buys her own house.

In "Emily In Wonderland", Emily becomes very distraught over the fact the Rory grew up in such a horrible place. In addition, Lorelai earns her G.E.D. and gets a degree in Business. Eventually, Lorelai moves up from maid to management to owning her own inn, the Dragonfly.

Christopher is Rory's father and Lorelai will always love him. She has considered marrying him on more than one occasion, but always decided against it, because it would never work between them.

Max Medina proposed, and everything was planned for Lorelai and Max's wedding. The both had gone to their Bachelorette and Bachelor Parties (respectively). Unfortunately for everyone involved, Lorelai realized that she couldn't go through with the wedding, as she didn't really love Max. She really wanted to love him, though.

Luke Danes has been pining for Lorelai since the first season of the show. In the season 5 finale, Lorelai asks Luke if he'll marry her, and he says yes in the opener of season 6 without even thinking about it.

Lorelai makes it clear on numerous occasions that she is democratic. She (as her younger self) yells up to her parents in the episode "Dear Emily and Richard", just to make sure they're not as home, that she's registering Democrat in two years. Luke mentions to Lorelai in a season 5 episode that he has gotten a TV so that Lorelai can watch "The Daily Show" while Luke's sleeping. "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" is a comedy news show with a largely Democratic audience.

Rory and Lorelai are known to be pop culture "buffs", and enjoy watching movies with large amounts of junk food. Lane, Rory's best friend in Stars Hollow, loves music, and Rory does as well. One of the reasons Rory liked Jess Mariano is because he had a great taste in music.

In addition, Rory has been known to absolutely love reading. She cried when she was 8 and found out Charlotte Brontė couldn't come to her birthday party (because she's dead). She convinced Jess to read "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand for a second time, and made Dean read Russian literature.

She even read during the party Paris helped to throw during the beginning of their stay at Yale.

Luke Danes is an orphan- his dead father has been mentioned on numerous occasions, his deceased mother a few times. Luke wants to respect his father's memory, likes to keep his office and old hardware store as close to how it was for his father as possible. Luke turned the hardware store into a diner.

His mother being dead was mentioned a few times. In the season 2 premiere, "Sadie, Sadie", Lorelai tells Luke that Max had proposed to her, and Luke then mentions that when his (Luke's) mother died, his father didn't know where the coupon drawer was, and used a can for years. Jess's mother is Liz, Luke's sister, who has been seen on numerous occasions after her initial appearance in the season 4 episode "A Family Matter".

In the season 3 episode "Say Goodnight, Gracie" Jess's father comes to Stars Hollow. Logan's parents have been in multiple episodes, but both were seen in the episode "But I'm a Gilmore!" when Rory goes over to Logan's for dinner. Jason Stile's parents both appeared in the episode "Tick, Tick, Tick, Boom!".

Answer: Al's Pancake World

Al's Pancake World stopped serving pancakes a while ago, but all of his napkins were already printed up, so he stuck with the name. The restaurant serves a very exotic cuisine, and is never seen in the show, but commonly referred to.

Fran Weston was the owner of The Dragonfly Inn and Weston's Bakery until she tragically died of old age in "Say Goodnight, Gracie". When Lorelai and Luke break up for some of season 5, Lorelai eats at Weston's every day. Lorelai also sampled wedding cakes there for her wedding with Max that fell through, and Sookie and Lorelai approached Fran on numerous occasions when attempting to buy the Dragonfly Inn.

They manage to get it once Fran passes away.

In the episode "But I'm a Gilmore!" Doyle (Paris's current boyfriend) is sick. She can't stand sick people even though she is pre-med! This ridiculous fact is mentioned numerous times in this episode.

In the season 4 finale, "Raincoats and Recipes", Rory has gone back to her house to pick up some CDs for the Dragonfly's test-run. Dean finds Rory there, and, although Dean is still married to Lindsay, he tells Rory that he loves her, and that it's over between him and Lindsay, and Rory ends up losing her virginity to "a married guy".

In the season 5 premiere, "Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller", Rory tries to talk to Dean, because she's very confused and upset. She ends up sleeping with Dean again at Miss Patty's! As Lane says, "[Miss Patty] would be so proud."

Answer: Rory needs a place to stay while she figures out what she wants to do with her life

Rory has stolen a yacht and gotten arrested for it. She must go to court in June. The entire reason Rory stole the yacht in the first place was because Rory was extremely upset over Mitchum Huntzberger firing her from his newspaper and saying that she "didn't have what it takes" to be a good reporter. Rory decides to quit Yale, and comes crying to her grandfather, Richard.

He decides it would be a good idea to go against Lorelai and help Rory by letting her take some time off of Yale and move into the pool house. Lorelai is extremely upset over this, and Luke expresses his anger as well.

It isn't until the season 6 episode "Twenty-one is the Loneliest Number" that Richard realizes that he made a mistake. Also Logan, by the way, is not abusive at all.

They love each other dearly at this point in the series.
