Glenn Shadix returned in this episode as the giant this time playing Typhoon, the much less even-tempered brother of his earlier character Typhon. He along with Leanna have to take care of the Harpy eggs until they hatch as a condition for saving Leanna's village.

Although Typhoon is in love with Leanna, he does not know how to express it and takes love lessons from Autolycus with predictably hilarious results.

Answer: Erases his memory

Her spell was only intended to make him forget his recent memory but actually wipes out his entire adult life. His last memories are from his teenage years before he met Hercules and reformed. He falls in with a local gang boss named Xeno, but eventually with help from Hercules he defeats the gang and regains his memory.

Answer: Nebula

Callisto, Varia and Alti were re-occurring characters from the spin-off "Xena Warrior Princess". Nebula was played by Gina Torres and would be a semi-regular love interest of sorts for Iolaus and later a regular companion of Hercules.

Answer: Sovereign

In this crazy mixed-up place, Ares has gone from being god of war (who is revealed to be a crazy psycho Cupid) to the god of love. Aphrodite goes from being a flirtatious scantily clad hussy to a prim, proper and uptight queen of the gods. Hercules is known as the Sovereign and is the undisputed leader of the world and quite evil.

Hercules's look was inspired by the "Star Trek" episode "Mirror, Mirror" in which an evil Spock sported a goatee. Joxer still fought on the side of good but instead of having a different personality he went from being inept to quite competent.

Answer: Ares

Dahak had a child with Gabrielle named Hope who was more a regular on "Xena Warrior Princess", though making a few appearances on this show. Hercules initially believes it is his child as Nemesis tells him that, but the truth comes out that Evander is the son of Ares.

This explains his powers being the son of two gods. Evander would play a role later on during the fall of the gods storyline.

Answer: Michael Hurst

Michael Hurst claims to have based the character on his own mother. In "...And Fancy Free" Twanky acted as a dance coach to Hercules after he enters into a dance contest to help a girl, despite the fact that he has no idea how to dance.
In "Men in Pink," Twanky returns as the manager of a female burlesque show that Salmoneus and Autolycus hide out in after being falsely accused of killing the king.

Answer: Cupcake

The part of Cupcake was played by Lacey Kohl. Initially, she was played as very ditsy. Autolycus in his drag disguise learns the ways to her heart in order to seduce her. Later in "My Fair Cupcake," we see she is actually quite intelligent and learned. Autolycus plans to use her in order to steal a diamond but realizes that he has real feelings for her just in time for her to be swept away by a prince.

Answer: Vincent Van Gogh

Each artist puts Hercules in a pose reminiscent of the artist's most famous work. Additional entrants include one who who sculpts "The Ponderer", an August Rodan homage, Xerox an artist who merely copies the guy next to him and the eventual winner a little girl with a small hand made drawing. Atalanta, after which the episode gets its name, makes a life size bronze sculpture of Hercules but does not enter it in order to hide her feelings for Hercules.

It is animated and causes all sorts of trouble for which Hercules is blamed. Ultimately it sacrifices its existence to save Atalanta.

Answer: Medea

Kevin Sorbo was forced out for a number of episodes after suffering a near fatal brain aneurysm. Thus a number of episode were shot that either had no appearance by Hercule sat all or just brief shots away from the rest of the cast that could be shot later. In classic myth, Medea was actually the wife of Jason that he took while retrieving the Golden Fleece.

Answer: Strife

In this episode, in order to limit Kevin's involvement he is quickly sent into the other dimensional void with the Sovereign. Meanwhile Ares and Callisto steal the Golden Hind's blood of the Sovereign and plan to use it to rule the gods. But Callisto at the beckoning of Hope steals the blood and pours some on a dagger then stabs Strife with it.

His death is acknowledged with crashes of thunder and lighting, signaling a great disturbance to the natural order has happened.

Answer: Porkules

Animated episodes are mentioned but quickly shot down when they realize they still need Kevin Sorbo's voice. They try and recast Hercules but can not find a decent actor on short notice. The idea of a young Hercules show is brought up (as a nod to the real "Young Hercules" show) but realize they would have to recast everyone. Chimpules is suggested as a big idea but everyone laughs at it. Porkules, though would actually be a real episode on the show featuring Hercules as a pig.

The staff of the show are all played by the regular cast. Kevin Smith as Jerry Patrick Brown, Hudson Leick as Liz Friedman and Bruce Campbell playing Rob Tapert are among some of the real cast portrayed.

At the end it is revealed that the reason Kevin Sorbo is late is he really is Hercules and he has been helping earthquake victims in Los Angeles, although the crew never finds this out.

In "Porkules," both Hercules and Catherine are pigs and Hercules frees Catherine from a butcher. At the end of the episode he agrees to take her back to her home, from which she had run away. Then in the follow-up "One Fowl Day" Aphrodite grants Catherine her wish to be human.

Although she initially likes the world of man she misses her animal friends and the simpler life she led. She asks to be returned to her pig state and is.

Answer: Make Hercules a god

He wants to bring him to Olympus, but it is revealed for rather selfish reasons. He fears the other gods will try to overthrow him soon and wants Hercules's protection. It is also revealed that he truly did love Alcemene despite his aloofness.

Answer: Apollo

Hercules got his first taste of true godhood here as Apollo gave him ambrosia. Later on he realizes what a jerk Apollo is for the way he treats humans and asks for Zeus to remove his godhood.

Answer: Hera

Hera does return once more in the series finale "Full Circle". Young Hercules would be spun off into its own show but the actor who played Hercules here passed as he didn't want to spend that much time in New Zealand. Alcemene's final scene was just a vision of her surrounded by fire and trapped by Hera to get Zeus to relinquish his power and throne to her. Apollo was strangely used here in the role that Ares would usually occupy, as a protagonist to Hercules.
