Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What time and place is Hiro in to begin Volume 2?

Answer: Japan - 1671

This aspect of Volume 2 is about Hiro and his storybook hero, Takezo Kensei.
2. Who is Matt Parkman working for in Volume 2?

Answer: New York City Police Department (NYPD)

Matt Parkman is living in New York City throughout Volume 2, having been an officer for the LAPD throughout Volume 1. He is divorced from his wife and is taking care of Molly Walker at Mohinder's apartment in Brooklyn. He passes his NYPD detective exam using his telepathy as a guide.
3. What is the name of the Irish girl that serves as Peter's love interest throughout Volume 2?

Answer: Caitlin

Caitlin is later trapped in post-virus 2008 after Peter teleports her there, but does not teleport her back to the present day.
4. One character is NOT alive during the main timeline of Volume 2. Two characters are seen visiting his gravestone in the episode "Kindred". To whom am I referring?

Answer: D.L. Hawkins

Niki and Micah Sanders are seen visiting the grave of Daniel Lawrence Hawkins. It is later revealed that the events of the Volume 1 finale did not kill him, but he died afterwards in a nightclub.
5. Who is Claire Bennet's primary love interest in Volume 2?

Answer: West

West Rosen is a classmate of Claire's at Costa Verde High School. He has the ability to fly, but he is not shown flying anywhere near as fast as Nathan Petrelli.
6. Volume 2 explores Matt Parkman's telepathy to greater depths, showing how he can do far more than he thought possible. What else can Matt do?

Answer: project his own thoughts into someone else's mind

Volume 2 reveals that Matt Parkman's telepathy is similar to his father's. Not just can he hear the thoughts of others, but he can project thoughts into others to the point of near mind control. Angela Petrelli shows that it is possible to fight this power, but it requires intense mental strength.
7. What is NOT true about the Volume 2 antagonist Adam Monroe?

Answer: He is not affected by Hiro's time stoppage

In 1671, he went by the name of Takezo Kensei. Hiro meets him in this time period and shows him how to be a great leader. Hiro also explains to him the extent of his healing ability. It is revealed that he has used this ability so many times that his cells are dying and regenerating at the same rate, so he no longer ages and is theoretically immortal.
8. The character of Bob is shown to be in charge of operations for "The Company". He displays the ability to turn inexpensive metals into gold. It is also revealed that he has a daughter. Who is she and what can she do?

Answer: Elle - electricity manipulation

Elle Bishop is a new character introduced in Volume 2. She has the ability to generate and manipulate electricity. It is shown that she can generate electricity from any part of her body, such as her hands or her lips.

Elle is portrayed by Kristen Bell, previously known for starring in the series "Veronica Mars".
9. Where does Hiro teleport Adam Monroe?

Answer: An underground casket

Hiro teleports Adam to a place where he "can never hurt anyone ever again." The next scene shows Adam screaming for help in a casket buried in a Japanese cemetery. Since Adam is effectively immortal, this is most likely the cruelest of fates.
10. Which character is about to publicly reveal their ability at the end of Volume 2?

Answer: Nathan Petrelli

Nathan calls a press conference where he is about to announce that he can fly, but he is shot moments before doing so. This cliff-hanger leads the way for Volume 3, entitled "Villains".

Well, that's it! Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed it!
