Jack broke up with Erica since she made hotel room reservations, in advance, just to get Jack away from Brooke. Erica did not understand why Jack was so upset and she mentioned, at one point, that she did not do anything so bad, like throw Brooke down an abandoned well. This was a nod to Janet's recent action of tossing Natalie down a well and her taking over Natalie's life.

Livia made a phone call to Brooke English since she knew about Jack's plans to meet with Erica at the hotel and wanted to comfort Brooke. Livia offered to go to Brooke's house and give her some support but Brooke said she had a lot of reading to do and needed to be alone. Livia got into a small rant about men and said they never grow up. Terrence overheard Livia and told her he was upset to hear this but Livia assured him she still thought that some men were very good and that she wanted to help lift Brooke's spirits.

Terrence asked his mom, Livia, to talk to him about his father. Livia refused to discuss his father but Terrence kept asking her about him. Livia just said that his father was old news and that it was good he was not in his life. Near the end of Livia and Terrence's discussion, Derek (Livia's brother) came in and waited until Terrence went upstairs to bed so he could scold Livia for lying to Terrence.

Erica found out, from Jack, that Adam informed Jack of Erica's scheme to get Jack alone with her up in the hotel. Adam saw Jack storm out of Erica's hotel room and decided to get Erica some flowers. Adam knocked on Erica's door, she opened the door and saw Adam with flowers, Adam said they were for her and Erica grabbed the flowers and started hitting Adam with them.

She went on to fight with Adam and hurled many objects at him, including various fruits.

Erica and Adam got to talking, in the middle of their fight, and this was when she claimed that Adam truly wanted Brooke and nobody else. Adam corrected Erica and said he was not interested in Brooke and there was only one woman in the world for him. Erica asked Adam who the woman was and Adam said it was her. Erica laughed at Adam and said that, if he was the last man on Earth, she would check herself into a convent.

Craig Lawson came to town and wormed his way into Dixie's life by claiming he was an old friend of Tad's. Craig and Dixie married but an old flame of Craig's, Gloria Marsh, came to Pine Valley and blackmailed him into resuming their affair. Gloria knew that Craig planned to con Dixie out of her fortune and told him, if he did not resume their affair, she would tell Dixie about Craig's plans to swindle her out of her money. Dixie found out about Craig's scheme and divorced him.

Craig and Dixie had just gotten married and were on their honeymoon, in this episode. Craig went missing (he was with Gloria) and Dixie went looking for him for a little while. She decided to call the front desk clerk and asked if he/she saw her husband.

The clerk had not seen Craig but promised to inform Dixie if he/she saw Craig. Next, Dixie notified the police and reported Craig as missing. Near the end of the episode, Craig returned to his hotel room that he shared with Dixie.

Brooke told Jack it was not a good idea that they talk, at that time, but Jack begged Brooke to listen to him and she agreed. Jack told Brooke she was right about Erica and Brooke replied that she has had Erica figured out for many years. Later on, Jack asked Brooke if she hated him and Brooke said no.

Erica was in the midst of throwing fruit, at Adam, and mentioned to him that he should have been more grateful to her since she gave his daughter, Hayley Vaughn, a job at Enchantment. Erica further noted that, when Janet kidnapped Hayley, she was there for Adam. At one point, Erica named Hayley to be the CEO of Enchantment but Hayley, later on, gave the position back to Erica.
