Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Arrow was one of the stations featured in "Lost". The survivors of the tail section of Oceanic Flight 815 lived there for a while before they traveled to the other side of the island to join in the rest of the castaways. Eko found part of the orientation film in this station and later he gave it to Locke. This orientation film was hid in which book?

Answer: The Bible

The film was hid in the Bible that was found in The Arrow station, together with a glass eye. Locke and Eko watched the film together in The Swan station. In this missing part, Dr. Marvin Candle warned the people who lived in The Swan station not to use the computer for other purposes other than pushing the buttons. Michael had communicated with his son, Walt through the computer but nobody else knew about this.
2. The Door was a Dharma Initiative station that was located on the other side of the island. In exchange for his son, Walt, Michael tricked Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley and brought them to The Others. However, Jack had figured out his own plan and ordered Sayid to go to the station by using the sailboat. What did Sayid find behind the door of this station?

Answer: Rock

Jack had the feeling that Michael was hiding something from him. Sayid sailed to the location described by Michael by using the sailboat with the help from Sun and Jin. However, to his surprise, there was nothing behind the door of that station except rock. Michael actually brought Jack and the rest of the gang to another meeting place. Earlier on, Michael lived somewhere near The Door and there were two guards standing outside The Door station.
3. The Flame was the station which was used to communicate with the outside world. Mikhail was stationed in this station. Sayid found out this station and he approached the station unarmed but he was shot by Mikhail. Who blew up this station?

Answer: John

Sayid and Kate noticed there were a large amount of C-4 explosive and they were wired throughout the entire perimeter of the house. John won his chess game against the computer by making his winning C-4 move, which caused the explosion soon after all of them left the house.

There were some apparatus in the cage that would reward food and water when they were pressed and activated at specific sequence and time. Sawyer figured out the mechanism and he was rewarded a fish biscuit.
5. The Looking Glass was an underwater station. Charlie entered this station by entering from the moon pool. Desmond told him in his vision, Charlie turned off the blinking yellow button and then he drowned. Upon getting the code from dying Greta, Charlie entered the code. Who showed up unexpectedly outside the station and set off a grenade which broke the porthole?

Answer: Mikhail

Mikhail got the order from Benjamin to kill off Greta and Boonie. He shot Boonie and wounded Boonie. Just as he was about to kill Boonie, Desmond showed up from the back and injured Mikhail. Later he escaped from the moon pool and showed up outside the porthole where he set off the grenade.
6. The Orchid was an underground station that was located within another station. This station was used to study exotic matter and time travel. In the orientation film that Benjamin showed Locke, Dr. Edgar Halliwax warned the viewers not to leave any ___ objects in the time travel chamber.

Answer: Inorganic

While John was watching the orientation film, Benjamin kept putting more and more metal objects into the chamber. This caused the chamber to explode. Benjamin entered the chamber and descended to another room covered in ice where he turned the donkey wheel which caused the island to move.
7. The Pearl was a monitoring station that was located beneath the drug smugglers' plane. While Paulo was hiding his bag of diamonds in the toilet of this station, which two people did he see entering the station?

9. The Swan was the station where Desmond lived for three years. The castaways got their dynamite from the Black Rock to blow up the hatch. Who changed his mind at the last minute and said it was not a good move to do so?

Answer: Hurley

After dropping his flashlight, Hurley bent to pick it up. He saw the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 were engraved to the hatch. These were his winning numbers of the lottery and he believed these numbers had brought him more bad luck than good fortune.
