Later, in the same episode, Sawyer is telling Jack about the lost opportunity to have gone back to save his parents. Jack asks, "Why didn't you?" Sawyer replies, "Because, Jack... what's done is done."

Jin threatens to hurt Daniel, if Charlotte does not promise to take Sun off the island. Charlotte nods in agreement.

Hurley is a simple nickname, and Monica and Najeev are fake names, not the names of other people.

The Hydra station on a smaller neighboring island watched over the bears. Kate and Sawyer were kept in their cages in season three.

Yemi was a priest in Nigeria, brother to Eko. Eko had saved Yemi from the Nigerian mob, but in doing so became a feared criminal himself. He used Yemi's church to transport heroin. In the process, he became to some degree responsible for Yemi's death. Eko took Yemi's priestly role and traveled, attempting to make up for his past sins. On the island, Eko proudly stated that he was not repentant. Yemi appeared to be most likely the smoke monster calling Eko to account for his crimes. On the other possible answers, Charlie's brother was former heroin addict, Liam. Neither Ethan or Boone are shown to have brothers, but Boone had a step-sister, Shannon.

Roger Linus was a workman for the Dharma Initiative on the island and single parent to Ben Linus. When Ben betrayed Dharma in the purge, he killed his father himself in a van on his birthday. Roger's body was found later in the abandoned van as Ben had no interest in recovering the body. John Locke, Anthony Cooper's son, was encouraged to kill his father. However, it was Sawyer who did the deed. Kate did murder her father, but Sam Austen was not her biological dad and was not murdered. Kate's presumed step-father, Wayne, turned out to be her real father and she blew him up for her "mother's sake".

Dan Faraday, interestingly enough, is never seen without his necktie. As a physicist, he is in tune with many of the peculiarities of the island. Jack asks Frank about Dan. "What's his story?" Frank replies, "Couldn't tell ya. Half the stuff he says goes way over my head, the other half goes way, way over." As of the fourth season, Dan's whereabouts are unknown.

Hurley says, "Dude, you speak English." Jin replies, "No, you're speaking Korean." Jin says that everything is going to change, and Hurley appears not to understand. Jin says, "Everything's going to change. Have a cluckity-cluck-cluck day, Hugo." Kate arouses Hurley from his dream, and he reluctantly keys in the numbers.
