I'll never understand why the army made Frank a Major. Maybe it was because he was so gung-ho! If you recall, Frank was promoted to Lt. Colonel and sent stateside after Margaret got married and he went crazy.

Louise was also the name of Trapper's wife. Nancy was the name of Frank's receptionist back in America; we find out in the episode "Carry On, Hawkeye" that he had an affair with Nancy as well! But Frank never left Louise because she came from money.

Actually, I believe he was referred to as "Needle Nose" in one or two episodes. But he was called "Ferret Face" quite a few times.

Frank, enraged by this opinion, barks at Radar and says, "Are you telling a doctor how to talk to a bird"? Sheesh!

Actually, it was Colonel Blake, not Colonel Potter, who, along with the rest of the gang, had a good laugh watching Frank attempt to get through his wedding. My favorite part is when Frank is attempting to cut the wedding cake, especially when Hawkeye says, "Even then, he didn't know how to hold a knife". Too funny!

Margaret said it was just a precautionary measure and got Father Mulcahy to write down Frank's will; of course she listened in! When Frank said that he was leaving Margaret his clothes, the look on her face was just priceless!
