Answer: Rose and Sophia open the house up to tourists without a hotel room

Dorothy goes with Blanche to Atlanta for the funeral. While they are away Sophia turns the house into a hotel for tourists with no place to stay. A prized plate of Blanche's was broken so Rose made Sophia give up all the money she made to buy a new one, then Blanche smashed it as soon as she got home.

2. In an attempt to sell it to Rose, Blanche loans her car to her and it gets stolen. What else happens in this episode?

Answer: Dorothy ends her relationship with a married man

Blanche is thrilled that the car is stolen when Sophia tells her that insurance will give her the blue book price for it. She gets a new car and they cheer up heartbroken Dorothy by going for a ride together.

3. Dorothy and Rose decide that they are capable of fixing the bathroom without the help of a man. Speaking of men, what is Blanche up to in this episode?

Answer: She is engaged to Richard before realizing he wants a mother for his children more than he wants a wife

Blanche is engaged to Richard, a very rich man, when she becomes aware that she is third in his life after his work and his children. At the end of the episode the girls gather in the bathroom, they turn on the sink and the water comes out of the shower.

Answer: They are near death with horrible cases of the flu

The get so mad when they are fighting about who is going to win that they all go to the banquet, flu and all. Each of them is miserable but they continue to put on a bold face to show up the others. In the end, Sophia wins the award.

Answer: Rose's sister Lily

Lily is blind and becomes dependent on Rose during the visit. Rose is the one who force her to become independent again and learn to live with her blindness.

Answer: Rose, Dorothy, and Sophia are raising minks

The minks were too old for breeding but they decide to keep them. As Rose says, just because something is old doesn't mean it becomes useless. The hidden message was important since Blanche was actually going through menopause.

Sophia was attempting to earn extra money while Dorothy's attention was focused on Patrick Vaughn. He dated all of the girls and they changed the ending of the play to kick him out of their town.

Angela comes for a visit and ends up moving to Miami, but she and Sophia can't go one day without fighting. When Angela gets an apartment with Sophia's boyfriend things escalate until they find out he was cheating on her. When fried chicken showed up on the table and Count Bessie disappeared it was assumed that Angela killed her.

In the end Count Bessie had just escaped from her cage and everything was fine.
