1. Who was the host of "Password"?

Answer: Allen Ludden

"Password" was shown in both black and white and color. It was shown in black and white from 1961-1966 and in 1966-1967. In 1971-1975 it was shown in color.
2. Who was the host of "Password Plus"?

Answer: All of these

Allen Ludden hosted "Password Plus" from 1979 to 1980. Bill Cullen hosted the show for about four weeks in the spring of 1980 when Ludden was having stomach pains, but then in the fall of 1980 Ludden had a stroke which forced him off the show. Bill Cullen was offered to host again, but Cullen just started to host "Blockbusters" and referred to Tom Kennedy as a good choice to host "Password Plus". Tom Kennedy was Bill Cullen's brother-in-law. So Tom Kennedy hosted the show from 1980 until its cancellation in 1982. Allen Ludden died from stomach cancer in 1981.
