Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Aside from the theme song, who is the first character to speak in the episode?

Answer: Haley

Haley's first line is, "Shut up, Steve! I have a term paper due!" She says it at the breakfast table; Steve is making too much noise eating and Haley is unable to work on her paper as a result.
2. After Roger falls through the table, what kind of pastry does he land on?

Answer: bear claw

After Francine decides Roger is too fat and puts him on a diet, Roger desperately tries to get at the desserts she is putting away. In the process, he leans over the table and falls through, sarcastically lamenting about falling on the bear claw.
3. Which company gets the contract to furnish Iraq?

Answer: IKEA

After wrapping up a phone call (apparently taking a furniture order), Stan is asked by his co-worker what the call was about, and replies, "We just signed a contract with IKEA to furnish Iraq. Basically, the whole country's gonna look like your first apartment."
4. After Haley trips the metal detector, what of hers does Stan mistake for a bomb?

Answer: gum

As soon as Haley walks in through the front door and the metal detector goes off, Stan tackles her. When he finds the gum Haley has, he runs outside, throws it as far away as he can, and ducks. When nothing happens, he accepts that it was just gum.
5. According to Stan, what country was Klaus originally from?

Answer: East Germany

After complaining that he was an Olympic skier before having his brain switched with that of a goldfish, Stan replies, "What were we supposed to do? Just let East Germany win that gold medal?" (This is obviously a reference to the anti-communist movement that once swept the United States.)
6. Whom does Stan "invite" to dinner with Steve?

Answer: Hillary Duff

Ever the one to take things way too far, Stan abducts Hillary Duff and forces her to have dinner with Steve to improve his ability to talk to girls. After Steve asks her to pass the salt, Stan voids his assertion that Hillary is present of her own free will by pointing a gun at her and demanding that she pass the salt.
7. How many votes did George W. Bush actually get in the first election?

Answer: 7

When Roger mentions that Steve is not attractive to girls because he lacks power, Stan decides to rig the election for student body president in Steve's favor to give him power. When Roger asks him if he can do it, Stan replies, "Rigging elections is my bread and butter, Roger. Do you know how many votes George Bush actually got in the first election? Seven."
8. What is the mascot of Steve's school?

Answer: buffalo

After Steve uses his presidential powers to take over the school, he calls the school's mascot into his office. To show that he can do anything he wants, Steve then proceeds to "ride the buffalo" around the room.
9. How does Stan break into the school?

Answer: air vent on the roof

After Steve goes drunk with power and barricades himself within the school, Stan has Francine distract him while he breaks into the school to talk to Steve. He climbs onto the roof with the aid of grappling hook, enters an air vent on the roof, and leaves the ventilation system through a vent in the Principal's office.
10. What snack does Roger request of Steve at the episode's end?

Answer: Twinkies

Throughout the episode, Roger has a fascination with sugary treats. Francine's imposed diet causes the desire, especially towards Chocodiles while Haley is his supplier. However, when he begins to coach Steve in talking to girls, his sweet tooth shifts over to Twinkies, which he happens to mention when he makes the deal with Steve.
