Answer: Warden Henry Pope

It is a common believe that prisons are built to punish offenders, however, Warden Pope does not endorse this belief. He has been in charge of Fox River Penitentiary for the past eighteen years and aims toward rehabilitating an inmate so that they may become economically active members of society on being released from the prison instead of resorting to a life of crime. One of his endeavours is the Prison Industries program, where inmates are skilled in occupations such as painting, landscaping and various industrial vocations.

Answer: John Abruzzi

John Abruzzi is the former Chicago mob boss. Other inmates consult him on matters prison-related. It could even be said that he runs the prison, even though the correctional officers enforce the law.

Answer: Captain Brad Bellick

Bellick's rise through the ranks was slow and steady. As a captain, he's reached the highest rank a correctional officer can attain; however, he has ambitions of becoming warden. His duties as captain include assisting with the transportation of death row inmates to the electric chair, supervising Prison Industries and overseeing the day-to-day operations of all general population inmates.

Answer: LJ Burrows

LJ fell off the straight and narrow path when his birth father, Lincoln Burrows, lost his final appeal and his date of execution was set. While LJ tries to give the impression his father's circumstances do not affect him, he did indeed become a different person - becoming involved with drugs and subsequently being arrested for possession with intent to sell. While LJ may have told his father his father is dead to him, his actions indicate otherwise.

While he is unwavering in professing his innocence in the murder of Terence Steadman (brother to the Vice President of the USA), Lincoln is not an innocent. He has prior convictions that include 2 months for theft, 3 months for criminal damage to property, 6 months for battery, 6 months for possession of drug related items and 10 months for battery.

Answer: Michael Scofield

Before attempting to rob the bank and discharging his weapon (the crime for which he is incarcerated), Michael is squeaky clean. He has a flawless academic record at his High School, Morton East and he later graduates "Magna Cum Laude", with a B.S., civil engineering and M.S., civil engineering, from the Loyola University of Chicago. At the time of his arrest, Scofield was employed as a structural engineer at the prestigious firm of Middleton, Maxwell and Schaum located in Chicago, IL.

"Cum Laude" means "with praise" and this distinction is achieved with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 - 3.599 , "Magna Cum Laude" means "with great praise" and this distinction is achieved with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 - 3.849, and "Summa Cum Laude" means "with highest praise
and this distinction is achieved with a cumulative GPA of 3.85 - 4.0.

Answer: Doctor Sara Tancredi

It is a law degree customarily awarded by an accredited U.S. law school after successfully completing three years of post-graduate law study. Requirements for entry into a JD program is normally a 4 years undergrad degree.

Answer: Sucre

Since his incarceration at Fox River, Sucre has been a model prisoner. He is determined to serve the shortest possible sentence and is eager to get out and join his girlfriend Maricruz Delgado. In season two, Sucre revealed that he was born in Puerto Rico. Amaury Nolasco was also born in Puerto Rico.

Theodore Bagwell (T-Bag) has barely known a life outside of detention. He was cited on numerous occasions for vandalism and cruelty to animals and when he was 10 years old, was caught trying to burn down the house of his fourth grade teach.
