During season 1, we saw him imprisoned at Fox River. During season 2, we saw him on the run from the FBI and in a local jail where he got exonerated and put under witness protection. During season 4, he reappeared in the show and asked for Sucre, Michael and Lincoln's help.

Yale University is the ivy league school where Wentworth's mother and father met while becoming a lawyer (father) and special education teacher (mother). This is also the school where Wentworth's two sisters, Gillian and Leigh, are believed to have gotten their law degrees. Roosevelt University is located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois and is where I received my bachelor's degree in English literature. An interesting fact about Roosevelt is that Albert Einstein was a member of their first board of trustees.

Paul Kellerman worked with Agent Danny Hale. Kellerman shot and killed him when he found out that he was meeting with Veronica Donovan. He found him and Hale told Veronica to hide. She crouched behind a car and Kellerman and Hale came face to face. Kellerman ordered Hale to give up his weapon. Hale didn't move and Kellerman took his weapon from his pocket, the envelope that contained all the evidence about the conspiracy that Veronica needed, fell to the floor. Kellerman opened the envelope and saw his name written by Hale on the sheet. After 15 years together he was angry his partner had named him. He then took out his gun and after some begging from Hale, Kellerman fired. Hale was dead.

Haywire first appeared in episode three 'Cell Test'. Michael had just tested Sucre's loyalty with the cell phone and found out he could trust him, so he let him know about the escape he was planning. Sucre moved cells soon after as he decided it wouldn't be worth adding another 10 years to his sentence, at the same time Haywire was transferred from the psych ward back into Gen pop. Bellick moved him into Scofield's cell as a type of punishment. The plan was halted. For the time being anyway.

Tweener arrived in episode nine 'Tweener', and immediately seemed really cocky. T-bag took an instant liking to the young inmate and referred to him as fresh meat. Later in the episode, T-bag was talking to a few members of the escape crew and he told them "I might as well get me one last piece of tail before I get out of here." Luckily for Tweener, Michael didn't like T-bag and warned him off Tweener and told him to keeps his hands off the youngster.

C-note was incarcerated for possession of stolen goods. He was at a loose end after being dishonourably discharged from the army and his search for work wasn't going well. His brother in law, Darius, offered him some work driving a truck and C-note knew that the job was illegal but still took him up on his offer. Shortly after he set off in the truck he was stopped by the police and the vehicle was searched. C-note was found to be transporting goods and was arrested. He later told his wife, Kacee, that he was being sent back to the army when really he was going to be serving time in Fox River.

Sucre's real name was Fernando Sucre. Around the prison he was known as Sucre to all the cons and the guards. He was only ever called Fernando by his girlfriend Maricruz and by his cousin Hector.

T-bag first appeared in episode two, Allen. He was first introduced to us when Michael was trying to remove the bolt he needed to unlock the toilet in his cell. T-bag had words with him and told him that if he wanted to use the bleachers then he had to be a part of his gang. Michael refused as it meant he would be T-bag's pocket holder. T-bag then warned him to stay away. Michael tried his luck again later that day, but once again was spotted by T-bag. Unfortunately for Michael he wasn't quick enough in removing the bolt and T-bag and Maytag saw him holding it. They assumed it was for the fight that was going to take place and told him to hand it over. Michael still refused to join their gang and so Michael lost his bolt. He later went searching in T-bag's cell for it but was caught red handed. He told T-bag he was going to fight on his side in the hope they would give him back his bolt. Maytag then pushed a lolly stick into his pocket and T-bag told him, "we have to know we can trust you before you can have the heavy artillery".

Lincoln Burrows was in debt to Crab Simmons for $90,000. The money he owed to Crab Simmons was used to set up Lincoln for the murder of Terrance Steadman. To Lincoln it looked like an easy deal, he murdered Terrance Steadman and the debt was cleared, but as always things are never that simple. The body in the parking garage was already dead. As Lincoln returned to his flat he discovered bloody clothes in the bath and the police burst in to arrest him. He exhausted all his appeals in three years and was sentenced to die on May 11th.

In episode four 'Cute Poison', Haywire had settled into the cell and Michael had to wait until Haywire was asleep before he could start to dig. He heard a noise and saw Haywire watching him. Haywire then informed him that he doesn't sleep. Ever. The reason behind this is because he suffers from a neuro anatomic lesion that causes profound insomnia. He also suffers from schizo-affective disorder with bi-polar tendencies. His condition is controlled by medication, which Haywire had stopped taking, as he called them 'Invisible handcuffs'.

He was called Otto Fibonacci. He worked at one of Abruzzi's warehouses and one night while working late, heard a noise. As he rounded the corner, he saw Abruzzi and his men stood in front of two men who were kneeling on the floor. Fibonacci watched as Abruzzi touched the men on the forehead and then gave his men the order to kill them. They were shot dead immediately. Fibonacci couldn't deny what he saw and contacted the police. He became a witness and testified against Abruzzi. His testimony saw that Abruzzi would be incarcerated for the rest of his life.

In episode 11 'And then there were seven', Michael asked for Tweener's help in recovering a watch that had been stolen from his personal effects. Westmoreland had told Michael that Tweener had earned his reputation as a bump and swipe so Michael knew he would be the man to help. Tweener agreed as Michael had given him the impression that he would let him work in PI. Shortly after, when Michael was in the infirmary, Tweener was rushed in covered in his own vomit and having, what can only be described as a seizure. Tweener managed to get the watch and slyly winked at Michael to signal that the job had been done.

C-note's wife Kacee thought he was serving in the army in Iraq. After he told her that he was going back to Iraq, he got sentenced to eight years in Fox River. While he was in the prison he used his connections to get postcards from Iraq which he would send back to her so she wouldn't know where he really was. She never found out he was lying until the escape and she discovered the truth.

Sucre was referring to C-note when he was talking to Michael about who was who around the prison. He told Michael that C-note was 'the local pharmacy' when he wanted to get PUGNAc, the insulin blocker he needed so he could gain regular access to the infirmary.

He said this to Geary shortly after Michael had turned off the air conditioning. The heat was riling up the cons and T-bag and some others wanted action to be taken in sorting it out. Michael was waiting for the guards to call for a lockdown and as soon as Geary shouted the word "Lockdown" Michael and Sucre escaped into their cell and started work. But unbeknown to them, T-bag wasn't going to let this lie and soon a full scale riot was starting to escalate. While hanging off the bars surrounding the guards office, Bellick started taunting T-bag and riled him up more. He managed to get into the guards room and let out the other convicts, although while there another inmate noticed that one of the guards had left their keys behind. T-bag had hit the jackpot. He went on a spree round the prison and bumped into Lincoln and a rookie C.O. A fight ensued before T-bag claimed the young C.O as his own. He took him to the cells and took him into Michael's cell. As he threw the C.O down, the toilet came away from the wall and T-bag discovered the hole. And the escape.
