"Invasion" was cancelled, despite doing very well after "Lost", due to its large production scale. Mahone is a highly intelligent man, and almost easily deciphered the code behind Michael's tattoos, as season two unfolded.

Veronica had finally located her man, the President's brother Terrance Steadman. He was being held prisoner in a home in Montana. He didn't seem to mind, as the alternative was death. Veronica called the local police department, but it never occurred to her what she was dealing with.

When the "police" arrived, they fired a bullet into her head. They took her body and put it into the trunk of their car. In a specifically sad twist, Lincoln was on the phone with her when she was killed. Jeff Perry took over the role of Terrance for season two. "Grey's Anatomy" fans may remember him as Meredith's father, Thatcher Grey, from season two.

Lincoln was determined to free his son, before the teen had to go into an adult prison. The men had formed a great plan, but it was foiled by Agent Mahone. They were going to lift LJ up out of his elevator, but Mahone figured it out as it was happening. They were faced with the choice of letting Mahone keep LJ or being caught. LJ told his dad to let him go.
Though this plan failed, which seemed to be the theme for the first five episodes, LJ was determined to acquire his son in Arizona, at a later date.

Answer: Debra Jean

While on a college campus, Tweener found a listing for a girl needing a co-driver on her trip. He took a number, and then removed the listing entirely. Tweener stayed with Debra Jean through the episode "Map 1213". Kristin Malko played Debra Jean Belle.

Fernando Sucre made it all the way to New York, but had to borrow a motorcycle to get to Las Vegas in time. Fernando did make it there before their wedding, but Maricruz's sister alerted Hector to Sucre's arrival. Hector called the police, forcing Sucre to leave. He had to give up his dream of Maricruz and their baby for now, and concentrate on getting to Utah for the money.

John made his way back to his family, only to allow his need for revenge destroy his escape. He allowed a false report about Fibonacci to take him out and into harm's way. He was apprehended by Mahone at a little motel, and then committed suicide by police shooting.

Yes, Paul's path of slime had increased! Paul/Owen Kravecki decided to befriend Sarah in order to get to Lincoln. He knew that she may be his best way to Michael, and then Michael to Linc. He posed as an addict in her AA meeting, then he snapped angrily at her, which lead to his apology.

He tried to come on to her a bit later, but when she turned him down, he twisted it around to make himself seem gay. That really took her guard down, and she allowed him into her home. He was there when her father visited. Governor Tancredi, played by John Heard, was set to become the Vice President.

He was told to distance himself from Sarah, but she had called him to make amends. John Heard also played Calleigh Duquesne father on "CSI Miami".

Answer: T-Bag and Tweener

Tweener left Debra Jean in Colorado. She could have turned him over to the police, but instead allowed him to use her car for a few hours. Tweener bumped in to Theo Handy (inside joke for viewers), who enlisted his help to dig for the cash. Then a bit later, Linc and Michael found T-Bag. T-Bag lied (shame on them for falling for this) about the location of the map from page 1213.

He said Tweener had it, but Tweener was just off procuring digging tools. The men locked T-Bag in the trunk of car, and went in search for Tweener.

It turned out to be timely, as they saved the man from being turned over by the hardware store clerk. But, while away from the car, T-Bag had memorized and eaten map 1213.

Answer: a housing development

T-Bag had secured his involvement by memorizing and then eating their map. So, Linc and Michael switch him out of the trunk and put Tweener in it. They drive to the correct road, then get out to walk the last quarter mile. They topped a small hill, and found a beautiful new neighborhood, full of homes, built over their location. My husband and I knew it would be covered with some building, so we debated on what it would be. We were both hoping it would be some huge shopping mall. Will the team be able to find where to dig, and if so, will it be inside someone's home?

Answer: an animal doctor

Poor Dr. Gudat! After he repaired T-Bag's injury, good old Teddy offered to kill him humanely. Teddy tied up the doctor and overdosed him on something, probably a sedative. Teddy himself took the surgery without any form of sedative, and then stole Marvin Gudat's SUV. As of episode five, Teddy's hand was still alive, but he had no feeling in it.
