Veronica was pleasantly surprised to find Logan outside her door, until she realized that he was in pretty bad shape. Logan had been in a fight with Weevil and his gang. Afterward, he went to Veronica for help and support.

Veronica was supposed to be on the bus when it crashed, however, the bus drove away leaving her stranded at a gas station. Meg was on the bus, but she did survive and was in a coma for months.
