Celeste is played by Lisa Thornhill, and, as evidenced by the heavy sarcasm with which Veronica is speaking, she is neither warm-hearted nor good-humored. She appears in "My Mother, the Fiend" and insults both Veronica and her mother.

This quote comes from the bathroom scene between Weevil and Logan in "My Mother, the Fiend." In my opinion, the only scenes that compare to the Logan/Veronica scenes in terms of witty banter and chemistry are the Logan/Weevil scenes. Personally, I would pay some serious money to see them wearing matching capes, with Logan in a sidecar.

Wallace claims to have gotten the saying from his mom in "Donut Run," but the quote comes from Don Meredith, a.k.a. Dandy Don, who was the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1960-1968 and the favorite player of many football fans because of his personality and toughness.

Keith responds, "Escort, honey." This exchange really demonstrates the unusual father/daughter relationship that Keith and Veronica share. The "escort" is played by Angelica Bridges in this episode, "The Rapes of Graff."

The question of who murdered Felix Toombs, played by Brad Bufanda, is one of the big mysteries of the second season. In this episode, "Plan B," Weevil confronts Molly Fitzpatrick to determine what she knows about his murder.

Alona Tal, who plays Meg, originally auditioned for the role of Veronica, and Rob Thomas liked her so much that he created the role of Meg Manning specifically for her after giving the role of Veronica to Kristen Bell. In the episode entitled "I am God," she is one of the students killed in the bus crash who haunts Veronica's dreams.

"I am God" is also the title of the episode in which this quote appears. Veronica originally believes the graffiti on the back of the bus seat to be a message from the person responsible for the bush crash, but she finds out that it is really just the name of a song that one of the students liked.

Logan says this to Veronica in "Look Who's Stalking" and the line echoes what Wallace says about Veronica in the pilot.
