One of Cory's friends William, was having a birthday party. When he told Cory his family hired a clown, he freaked out. At the actual party when the clown shows up to perform, Cory screams and runs out of the room.

Mr. Baxter was trying his mother's recipe out on the kids and deciding if he should possibly put it on the menu at his restaurant.
