In this episode, Brenda invited Andrea, Kelly, and Donna over for a sleepover. Kelly's horribly rude friend Amanda showed up as well and made everyone admit their deepest secrets. After hearing Brenda admit that she stole her old best friend's boyfriend, Kelly felt guilty and told Brenda that she had hit on Dylan.

The last few episodes of season four revolved around Brenda playing Maggie the Cat in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". She fought over the role with Kelly, and then with Laura, who almost ended up hanging herself in her desperation for the part. It was rumoured that Brenda slept with Roy, the director, to get the part, but the rumours were completely untrue.

She received rave reviews and Roy, recognizing her talents, got her a position in the summer drama program at the Royal Academy in London. When Brenda left for London for the summer, she in fact left the show for good.
